The building sits in the Baluty district, which honestly feels more residential than touristy – and that’s exactly why I ended up loving it here.

The suite I stayed in had this surprisingly spacious balcony that looks out over some genuine greenery, not just another concrete jungle view. I mean, you’re still in Łódź, so it’s not like you’re staring at mountain peaks, but there’s something really calming about having actual trees to look at while you’re sipping your morning coffee. The parking situation is a godsend if you’re driving – and I can’t stress this enough because finding a decent parking spot in Polish cities can be… well, let’s just say it’s an adventure you don’t always want. The rooms themselves feel more like proper apartments than hotel boxes, which makes sense given the “suites” part of the name. There’s enough space to actually unpack your suitcase and not live out of it for days, plus a kitchenette that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the nearby shops instead of eating out every meal.

What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night – Drewnowska isn’t one of those streets where you’ll hear trams clattering by at all hours or drunk tourists stumbling around. The area has this sort of lived-in feeling where you’ll see locals walking their dogs in the evening and families heading to the small cafés that don’t show up in guidebooks. It’s maybe a 15-minute walk to the main Manufaktura shopping center (no relation to the hotel name, just coincidence), but you’re far enough away that you don’t get caught up in all that commercial hustle. The staff here actually seems to know what they’re doing too – check-in was straightforward, and when I had a question about the best route to avoid traffic heading toward the city center, the person at the desk gave me genuinely helpful local advice instead of just shrugging. Sure, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect marble everything and 24-hour room service, but honestly? Sometimes you just want a clean, comfortable space with reliable WiFi and a good night’s sleep, and this place delivers on those basics without any pretense.

  What could be improved: First of all – it’s SO DIRTY. Especially linen, pretty old, almost see through and smelled like it hadn’t been washed for months. HOLES IN BED SHEET! Carpet in living room is dirty. Nothing was left to wash it by ourselves even, which is not okay by itself. We contacted the host, they said the cloning services will come and it never came!
  Just 2 towels for 4 days for 2 people! Nothing for hands, hair, no kitchen towels.
  It was the worst experience, not recommended at all.

  Місце проживання дуже зручне, Поряд торговий центр з безліччю магазанів та кафе. Усе в пішій доступності. Квартира має усе для комфортного проживання. Хоча вона знаходиться в центрі але має тихий двір – доречі закритий. Чудова звукоізоляція.

  Apartament przyjemny. Bezproblemowy odbiór kluczy. Miejsce parkingowe. W apartamencie było wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy przez dwa dni. Blisko Manufaktura. Przy następnym wyjezdzie do Łodzi będę rozważała tę miejscówkę!
  
  What could be improved: Brak klimatyzacji, ewentualnie wiatraka , bo było badzo gorąco.
  Polecam zmienić materac w sypialni, bo jest baaaardzo miękki.

  What could be improved: To bardziej uwaga do gospodarzy niż samego mieszkania. Przyjazd zabookawany został dla 3 dorosłych osób na 7 dni ale w mieszkaniu tylko 2 rolki papieru toaletowego, jedna tabletka do zmywarki, pojemnik na mydło bez mydła, żadnej sciereczki w kuchni, tylko po jednym reczniku na osobe, ekspres do kawy na specjalne kapsułki ale tylko 3 kapsułki. Niby to niewiele ale jednak spodziewałam sie lepszego przygotowania apartamentu, aby goscie pierwszego dnia nie musieli robic zakupów gospodarczych a jednak wszystko było dostarczone w apartamencie.
