Look, I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Manu Park Studio on Ogrodowa Street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard building in central Łódź. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you, and this little studio setup definitely falls into that category.

The thing about staying in Śródmieście is that you’re right in the thick of everything without the crazy tourist chaos you’d get in Krakow or Warsaw. Ogrodowa 4 puts you maybe a ten-minute walk from Piotrkowska Street – which, if you haven’t been, is this incredible pedestrian strip that locals actually use, not just some sanitized tourist zone. I mean, you can grab breakfast at one of those tiny cafés that smell like proper coffee and fresh bread, then wander back to your studio to plan the rest of your day. The studio itself is… well, it’s exactly what it says on the tin, but done really thoughtfully. Everything you need is there without feeling cramped, and honestly, the attention to detail surprised me. The kitchenette actually works (I made pasta one night – the burner heats evenly, the sink doesn’t drip), and there’s this nice natural light that comes through in the morning that makes the whole space feel bigger than it is.

What really sold me, though, was how quiet it stays at night. You’d think being in the city center would mean constant noise, but Ogrodowa is just residential enough that you can actually sleep with the windows cracked open. The building itself feels solid – no creaky floors from upstairs neighbors or paper-thin walls. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward “wait in the lobby for twenty minutes while we figure out your reservation” nonsense. The person who showed me around actually knew the neighborhood, gave me a heads-up about which tram lines run late (useful if you’re planning to explore the revitalized factory districts) and mentioned this bakery around the corner that opens ridiculously early. Small stuff, but it matters when you’re trying to get oriented in a new city. I guess what struck me most about the whole experience was how it felt like staying in someone’s well-organized spare room rather than a sterile hotel box. The kind of place where you can spread out your stuff, cook something simple if you want, but still have everything clean and functional. And for a 3-star spot, the quality really punches above its weight – that 9.3 rating isn’t just because people had low expectations. It’s because when you nail the basics and add those little thoughtful touches, travelers notice. Honestly, if I’m back in Łódź (and I probably will be, the city’s growing on me), this is definitely where I’d stay again.

  Mieszkanko w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji.Minusem są okna wychodzące na ulicę ,blok stoi przy chodniku przy jednej z głównych ulic. Obok znajduje się przystanek autobusowy,odpoczynek dla nocnych śpiewaków.
  Niedaleko wręcz spacerkiem krótkim Manufaktura. Weekend był wietrzny okna, nawiewy gwizdały i świstały dźwięki Alaski gwarantowane.
  Czysto i przestrzennie dużo szafek szaf wszystko można pochować.
  Ekspres na ampułki byłby dodatkowym atutem, ew jest Żabka niedaleko, oraz piekarnia.

  Spędziliśmy Sylwestra w tym apartamencie i ogólnie jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z wyboru! Lokalizacja była świetna – blisko centrum, ale jednocześnie na tyle cicho, że można było odpocząć. Apartament był bardzo czysty, przestronny i dobrze wyposażony, co było dla nas ogromnym plusem. Kuchnia miała wszystko, co potrzebne do przygotowania posiłków, a widok z okien dodawał uroku tej wyjątkowej nocy.
  
  Jedynym minusem było to, że bardzo wiało z wywietrzników, co chwilami obniżało komfort.
  
  Mimo tego drobnego mankamentu, Sylwester w takim miejscu to czysta przyjemność – z pewnością rozważymy powrót!
