You know what surprised me most about Manu Park Luxury Apartment? It actually lives up to that “luxury” part of its name, even though it’s technically just a 3-star place. I mean, when you’re walking down Ogrodowa Street in Śródmieście, you might almost miss it – the entrance is understated in that elegant Polish way, not flashy like some of the tourist traps closer to Piotrkowska.

The apartment itself feels more like staying at a well-traveled friend’s place than a typical hotel room. The kitchen is actually functional (I made coffee there every morning), and honestly, the attention to detail caught me off guard. Someone clearly thought about what travelers actually need – proper lighting by the bed, enough outlets for your devices, and thank god, really good blackout curtains. The neighborhood gets lively on weekend evenings, but once those curtains are drawn, you’re in your own quiet bubble. I loved that you could hear just a hint of the city humming below, but nothing that kept me awake.

What really sells this place, though, is the location. You’re right in the heart of Łódź’s revival story – I could walk to the fantastic restaurants on Piotrkowska in about ten minutes, but I was also just a few blocks from some of those incredible murals that are turning the city into this unexpected street art capital. The nearby Manufaktura shopping center is there if you need it, but honestly, I spent most of my time just wandering the streets around Ogrodowa, discovering these little cafes and vintage shops that you’d never find in a guidebook. There’s decent street parking if you’re driving, though I’d recommend just walking everywhere – the tram connections are solid, and you’ll miss so much if you’re stuck in a car. That 9.4 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there for a day or two. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, just delivering exactly what it promises with this sort of quiet confidence that’s very Łódź, if that makes sense.

  Lokalizacja znakomita – w najbliższej okolicy większość głównych atrakcji miasta. Lokal bardzo czysty, świetnie wyposażony we wszystko co możliwe, urządzony dizajnersko i gustownie.
  Szybki internet, duże łóżko, dwa telewizory z funkcją smart.
  
  What could be improved: Trudno spać przy otwartym oknie – tramwaje trochę hałasują, słychać też niekiedy gwar z ulicy – ale takie uroki lokalizacji w centrum…
  Jedyna drobna uwaga: przydałyby się jakieś wieszaki – haczyki na kurtkę w przedpokoju, na ręcznik w łazience.
  Łóżko dość miękkie, nie każdy takie lubi
