After spending a few nights here, that quirky name actually makes perfect sense once you understand where this place sits in Łódź.

The apartment is tucked away on Targowa Street, which honestly feels like you’ve discovered one of those local secrets that guidebooks somehow miss. I mean, you’re literally walking distance from both Księży Młyn (that gorgeous restored mill district that locals are genuinely proud of) and Galeria Łódzka shopping center – hence the wonderfully chaotic name. The building itself is one of those converted residential blocks that Łódź does so well, where you get the authenticity of living like a local but with actual decent WiFi and a properly functioning shower. Trust me, that matters after a long day exploring the city’s incredible street art scene.

What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night, despite being so central. The Targowa area has this perfect balance – busy enough during the day that you feel connected to the city’s pulse, but residential enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The apartment itself feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile hotel-room clean, if you know what I mean. There’s actually space to spread out your stuff, a kitchen where you can make proper coffee (not those terrible pod machines), and windows that open wide enough to let in that fresh Polish air. The 9.1 rating honestly doesn’t surprise me – it’s one of those places where someone clearly thought about what travelers actually need rather than what looks good in photos.

Parking was easier than I expected, which anyone who’s driven in Polish city centers will appreciate. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward hovering around a tiny reception desk while other guests pile up behind you. What I loved most, though, was how it positioned me to really explore Łódź properly. You can walk to Piotrkowska Street (Europe’s longest pedestrian street, and yes, it actually lives up to the hype) in about fifteen minutes, but you’re also close enough to the newer developments that you get a real sense of how this city is evolving. I actually ended up staying an extra night just because I felt so settled there – and honestly, for a 3-star place, it punches well above its weight in terms of making you feel at home rather than just passing through.

Hotel in Lodz booking should be done early, especially during film festival season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cinematography events.

  Super apartament, przestronny, czysty, bardzo wygodny. Bardzo dobrze wyposażony zarówno kuchnia ( od sprzetu po środki czystosci – płyn, gąbki, ręcznik papierowy, ściereczki) w toalecie płyny do kąpieli i środki czystości, zapas ręczników i pościeli.
  Nawet dłuższy pobyt z dziećmi nie byłby tam uciążliwy.

  Apparments were spacious and comfortable. We have found everything we need. We have arrived late night after long driving in the rain. Underground free parking was so good bonus as outside there was still rain.

  We were happy with the size of the apartment and the underground parking. The building is in a very good condition. If the beds were larger and the owner paid more attention to cleaning I would have rated it 5 stars.
  
  What could be improved: I wonder why the beds are so small, when there is enough room for a 180cm wide bed. It was ok for a one night stay but would not recommend for a longer stay.
