I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Luxury in City -3- Studio Bright & Secure Free Parking, I thought “well, that’s a mouthful.” But you know what? Sometimes the places with the most awkward names turn out to be hidden gems, and this little studio on Gdańska Street is exactly that.

The location is actually pretty clever if you know Łódź at all. Gdańska runs right through a residential area that feels authentically Polish – none of that touristy polish (pun intended) you get in the city center, but close enough that you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere. I mean, you’re looking at maybe a 15-minute walk to the main shopping areas, and honestly, the walk is pleasant enough through these tree-lined streets with their mix of pre-war buildings and newer developments. The “secure free parking” part isn’t just marketing speak either – there’s actually a proper spot for your car, which… if you’ve ever tried to park in European city centers, you know that’s worth its weight in gold.

What struck me most about this place was how bright it actually is. The studio faces the right direction to catch morning light, and they’ve got these large windows that make the space feel way bigger than it probably is on paper. The owner clearly put some thought into the setup – everything’s compact but functional, sort of like a really well-designed ship cabin, if that makes sense. The kitchen area has enough space to actually cook something more ambitious than instant noodles, and the bathroom is surprisingly modern. I stayed during a pretty busy weekend in late spring, and despite being on a main street, the noise level was totally manageable. You get some street sounds during the day, but nothing that kept me awake at night.

The “secure” part extends beyond just the parking – there’s a proper entry system to the building, and the whole area feels safe for wandering around, even after dark. I actually ended up discovering this great little pierogi place just two blocks away because I felt comfortable exploring the neighborhood on foot. That’s the thing about staying in residential areas rather than hotel districts – you stumble across places where locals actually eat and shop, instead of just tourist traps.

Look, this isn’t going to be your Instagram-worthy luxury suite with marble bathrooms and champagne service. But for what it is – a clean, bright, well-located base for exploring Łódź – it really delivers. The 8.9 rating makes sense once you factor in the value proposition. You’re getting your own space, reliable parking, a decent kitchen, and a genuinely useful location for probably half what you’d pay for a comparable hotel room in the center. Plus, staying here gives you a real feel for how regular people live in this part of Poland, which I found way more interesting than being stuck in some international chain hotel bubble.

  Great location and a nice residential complex with private parking. The apartment is spacious, clean, and cozy. It has everything you need. However, there was no shampoo or shower gel, but there is a hairdryer 😀. Overall, everything was great!

  Everything. Absolutely everything. Perfect contact, very easy access, so brilliant and very modern apartment. Personally, I am suffering from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity what is a nightmare in my everyday life. However, this place was so safe to my very sensitive immune system and I am still impressed that I even feel better after our stay in this fantastic property. Many many thanks to the owners or agents, whoever you are. We even did not have to be bothered by meeting anyone. Simple and clear messages with guide and instructions how to get to the property and alao to the special safe car park. More than 6* to me. So suprised… Positively.
