But walking into this place on Drewnowska Street completely changed my perspective on what apartment-style accommodations can actually offer. The building itself sits right in the heart of Baluty, and you know what? That’s actually perfect because you’re close enough to all the Manufaktura action without dealing with the tourist crowds right outside your window.

The apartments themselves are genuinely impressive – I mean, we’re talking about spaces that feel like someone’s stylish friend let you crash at their place, not some sterile hotel room. The kitchens are properly equipped (none of those sad mini-fridges and two-burner situations), and the living areas have this warm, lived-in quality that makes you want to actually hang out there instead of just sleeping and leaving. What really got me was the attention to detail – good lighting everywhere, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re trying to unwind after walking around Łódź all day. The beds are comfortable too, though I will say the street can get a bit lively on weekend evenings, but nothing that decent windows can’t handle.

Here’s the thing about staying in this part of Łódź – you’re positioned perfectly to explore both the revitalized Manufaktura complex and the grittier, more authentic parts of the city that most visitors miss. I loved being able to walk to the shopping and dining at Manufaktura in about ten minutes, but then also discovering some incredible local spots just by wandering the neighborhood streets. The staff actually knows the area well and can point you toward places that aren’t in the typical guidebooks. Parking was surprisingly straightforward for a city center location, which anyone who’s driven in Polish cities will appreciate. The whole experience felt like having a proper home base rather than just a place to sleep – and honestly, at this quality level with that kind of local positioning, the 8.4 rating makes complete sense. It’s the sort of place where you end up staying longer than planned because it just works, you know?

  the location is great. overall, the studio has everything you need.
  
  What could be improved: the studio was not the cleanest – the pillows and the bedding were stained, as well as the bed frame which was also broken and torn apart. the studio was smaller than we had anticipated, we made a reservation for 4 people. there were animal hairs on the curtains. the key was put in this very small postbox, it was difficult to reach.

  The bed was ok. I would have given the view a 10 except for the building right in front of your face as soon as you step out on the balcony.
  
  What could be improved: Almost everything else; the first impression was the worst in all booking.com properties I've stayed at thus far – a dog urinated on the carpet, and with all the windows & doors closed in the humid temperature the funk had already turned into a unbearable nauseating pungent odour, and the owner refused to clean it up before our arrival, it felt like it was done on purpose. Upon arrival the Wifi username and password was all wrong so, we couldn't communicate with the outside world at least for the first night. It was the worst welcome we've ever received. Secondly, the apartment's ad promised a dishwasher before we booked it(which the owner has now removed to avoid any being accused) but, there was none on site. She also promised a washing machine, none of which was available at the facility. There were no closets or wardrobe in the bedroom to hang our clothes so, we had to put our luggage on the bare floor. The bedroom side lamp wasn't working, there were stains on the bed. The living room had a very old stinking couch that was already falling apart and it also had stained upholstery. Sticky flushing WC mechanism in the bathroom that only allowed aggressive flushing, and not the eco one. It would splash water and faeces all over you when you press it. Very scary steep underground parking ramp – not sports car/low suspension car friendly. We can go on & on about the cons but, what added salt to the injury was the lack of accountability of the owner of the apartment when we called to resolve these issues, she completely denied it and blamed it on us.

  What could be improved: Poranna praca śmieciarzy potrafi obudzić każdego. Nie jest to wina właścicieli podobnie jak sąsiad powyżej, który dostarcza dodatkowych atrakcji.

  What could be improved: Nie była zmieniona pościel po poprzednich gościach, narzuty na łóżkach były w psiej śmierci, były nieświeże.
  Ciężki kontakt z zarządzającymi, nie byli wstanie wytłumaczyć przez telefon gdzie znajdują się miejsca parkingowe, mieli oddzwonić ale nic takiego się nie stało.
