Lumina comfy apartment Lodz Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Lumina comfy apartment Lodz on Wróblewskiego Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. The building itself is pretty typical for this part of Łódź, you know, that solid Polish architecture that doesn’t try to impress anyone. But stepping inside? That’s where things get interesting.
The apartment itself is actually beautifully done – someone clearly put real thought into making this feel like a home rather than just another rental space. The lighting (fitting, given the name) creates this warm, welcoming atmosphere that hits you the moment you walk in. I mean, after spending days in sterile hotel rooms, finding a place with actual personality was refreshing. The furniture isn’t just functional – it’s comfortable in that way that makes you want to curl up with a book rather than rush out sightseeing. And honestly, the kitchen setup is better than what I have at home, which says something. You can actually cook here if you want to, not just heat up instant noodles.
What I really appreciated was the location – Wróblewskiego puts you in a residential area where you get a real feel for how people actually live in Łódź. It’s maybe a fifteen-minute tram ride to the main tourist spots like Piotrkowska Street, but you’re away from all that hustle. The neighborhood has this lived-in quality that I find more interesting than staying right in the center anyway. There’s a decent grocery store within walking distance (crucial for morning coffee runs), and the tram connections are actually pretty reliable once you figure out the system. Parking was easier than I expected too – street parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in some Polish cities.
The 8.3 rating makes sense to me, though I’d personally rate it a bit higher. Maybe it’s because I caught it during a quieter season, but everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The Wi-Fi worked properly (always a gamble), the shower had good pressure, and – this might sound small but it matters – there were enough outlets in convenient places. You know those little frustrations you don’t think about until you’re dealing with them? This place seems to have anticipated most of them. The only minor thing I’d mention is that if you’re a super light sleeper, there’s occasional street noise in the early morning, but honestly, it’s part of staying in a real neighborhood rather than some isolated tourist bubble. I actually found it kind of charming – hearing the city wake up outside your window.

Reviews of Lumina comfy apartment Lodz
Exceptional – Bo from Poland – November 11, 2024 (10/10)
The apartment is well-equipped, beautifully designed, and has great access to the city. The property manager is very nice and helpful, quick to respond at any time of the day, well-organized communication before check-in and check-out. I recommend. If I get a chance I will stay here again.
Just OK – Greengroszek from Poland – June 16, 2024 (8/10)
Location is great, major touristic attractions and city Centre within 10 min by car.
Comfortable parking included.
Apartment is fully furnished and equipped.
Good for short stay.
What could be improved: Skimpiness is visible – towels, bed sheets all the cheapest quality.
Bed mattres is a disaster.
I would say "good enough", definitelly doesnt feel "luxury".Best best 😍😍😍😍 – Rosh from Poland – February 28, 2024 (10/10)
Best place I ever stayed
What could be improved: Best place I ever stayedWe made the most of our stay but would not recommend this location. Too far from shops and cafes. – Richard from Australia – January 20, 2024 (5/10)
The heating in the apartment was good. The elevator was handy as we didn’t have to carry luggage up and down stairs.
What could be improved: The address given to us in our original confirmation was incomplete! The Building was actually Wroblewskiego 21K but the address initially received on our notification was Wroblewskiego 21. We gave this to the taxi driver who left us in the dark and in the rain at the address Wroblewskiego 21. After contacting Booking.com they advised the address was 21K and we had to walk over a kilometre in the rain to get to our destination. Not a good welcome for someone arriving in a foreign country for the first time and having to haul their luggage over a kilometre in the dark and in cold conditions and in the rain. We then received a new notification with the correct address. This was not a good start to our stay. The location was too far from any shops or cafes and we had to take taxis to get any food or drink. There was no tv reception for our entire stay – we could not even get local channels as the signal was too weak. Whilst, the internet worked, it was a weak signal and kept dropping out. We had to call booking.com on more than one occasion as we had difficulty entering the code to get access into the building during our stay. On more than one one occasion we were not able to access the building and were left outside in freezing conditions ( -10 degrees). Whilst the key to the apartment worked, we only gained access thanks to other tenants admitting us into the building. Sometimes we had to enter the code three or four times before it worked. It was ironic that we received th3 correct building instructions after we had completed our stay.
The pillows that we had were tiny and not adequate to sleep on. We had to use our clothes as pillows. There was no tea towel to dry the dishes. The bath towels were thin & not quality and did not meet what we would consider to be a minimum standard. There was no toaster in the apartment.Good but beds are bad – Karina from Poland – January 14, 2024 (8/10)
It’s a good apartment with a good location, two bedrooms and a warm bathroom
What could be improved: Nice but the beds are so uncomfortable! The pillows seem to be for babies not for adults so thin they were. One of the beds seem to be broken, just check it out.Very Good – Samsonova from Netherlands – May 1, 2023 (8/10)
nice location and also it’s good bonus about access to the swimming pool.
but in one appointment we had no wi fi and we asked every day to help us with , but nobody care about.Exceptional – Alina from Ukraine – March 30, 2023 (10/10)
Very clean, nicely renovated, equipped with everything necessary and even more. Big nice balcony.
What could be improved: A bit smaller than on photo, and a bed was also a bit smaller than on photoPoor – Lilia from Lithuania – February 24, 2023 (3/10)
Existing underground parking but exit from it is quite dangerous
Big balcony, summertime is a bonus
What could be improved: Dissapointed
