What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Orzechowa isn’t a main thoroughfare, so you’re not dealing with trams rattling by at 6 AM or drunk students stumbling home. The building feels solid – none of that paper-thin wall situation where you hear every conversation from next door. And honestly, the location grows on you once you figure out the neighborhood. You’re about a fifteen-minute walk from Piotrkowska Street, which is perfect because you can hit the main action when you want it but retreat to this calmer area when the city gets overwhelming. There’s a decent grocery store just around the corner on Wojska Polskiego, and the tram connections are better than you’d expect for such a residential spot.

The host clearly knows what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, they left some local recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps, and when I had a minor issue with the heating (this was in March, still pretty chilly), they sorted it out within hours. That kind of responsiveness is rare, especially in short-term rentals. The whole place feels like someone actually lives there sometimes, not like a sterile hotel alternative. There are books on the shelves, decent coffee in the kitchen, and little touches that make you feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary local. With that 8.9 rating, I get why people keep coming back – it’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard.

  What could be improved: Dużym plusem by było aby jakaś herbata była dostępna. Nie jest to jakiś problem ale po podróży dobrze się napić czegoś, a nie szukac sklepu.
