You know what caught me off guard about Loft Piotrkowska by Good Time? Walking up to this converted building on Piotrkowska 120, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. I mean, the street itself is pretty incredible – it’s this massive pedestrian stretch that locals will tell you is one of the longest commercial streets in Europe – but the hotel entrance is sort of tucked away and understated. Then you step inside and it hits you: someone actually put thought into this place.

The loft concept isn’t just marketing fluff here. These rooms have genuine character, with exposed brick in some units and industrial-style fixtures that feel authentic rather than forced. I stayed on the third floor and loved the high ceilings – gave the space this airy feeling you don’t usually get in budget-friendly spots. The location is honestly perfect for exploring Łódź’s revitalized center. You’re literally steps from Manufaktura (that massive shopping and cultural complex in the old textile factory), and if you’re into the city’s incredible street art scene, you can walk to some of the best murals in maybe ten minutes. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed at night, despite being right in Śródmieście – the windows do a decent job blocking out the evening foot traffic.

Here’s the thing about this place that bumped it up to an 8.5 rating in my book: it’s run by people who seem to get what travelers actually need. Check-in was smooth, they had solid recommendations for local restaurants (definitely hit up Anatewka if you want proper Polish-Jewish cuisine nearby), and when I had questions about getting to the train station, they didn’t just hand me a generic map. The breakfast isn’t fancy, but it’s fresh and there’s enough variety to fuel a day of sightseeing. Parking can be a bit tricky – there’s no dedicated hotel lot, but there are spots on surrounding streets if you’re patient. I’d actually recommend ditching the car though; Łódź’s tram system is pretty reliable and Piotrkowska is made for walking anyway. The rooms themselves are clean and modern without being sterile, and honestly, for the price point, you’re getting way more style and comfort than you’d expect. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you discovered something good rather than just booked a room.

  The entire property is a very cool setup. The building we stayed in was an old theatre. The room was very comfortable, so was the bathroom. It was the top floor but they leave some sweets for you at the top as a congratulations! Very clean, had a fridge and they even left us bottles of water. Which is the first place in Poland during a 2 week trip that has done so. It's a very convenient location and was very clean.
  
  What could be improved: The staff could have been a bit more welcoming and told us about the property more. I think there's free coffee in the lobby but I'm not sure?
  The walls are paper thin, my partner and I were talking with Normal voices and the front desk had to come and tell us to be quiet – the guests next door heard out voices through the walls.

  Good location, Clean rooms, Nice and kindly stuffs. I arrived earlier than expected, but the room was ready so I was able to check in early. I could also drink coffee at the hotel reception.

  Central location, right on Piotrkowska Street, the shopping city center, and a 25 minute walk to the Łódź Fabryczna railway and bus stations, and within walking distance to several tourism sights.
  My room was the right size, had a bathroom with shower, a TV, fridge, and electric kettle.

  The whole experience was excellent, as I wanted a room on the top floor as I was missing the 126 steps that I wall up many times per day at home.
