Loft Piotrkowska 37 Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Loft Piotrkowska 37? I was expecting just another converted apartment building, but this place actually has character. It sits right on Piotrkowska Street – and I mean literally on it, so you’re in the thick of Łódź’s main pedestrian strip with all the cafes and street art that makes this city surprisingly cool.

The loft-style rooms live up to their name, honestly. High ceilings, industrial touches, but not in that try-hard way some places do it. My room had these big windows facing the street, which means you get natural light all day (though you’ll want to close them if you’re a light sleeper – Piotrkowska can get lively, especially on weekends). The kitchenette was actually functional too, not just for show, which I appreciated since Polish grocery stores have some gems if you know where to look. There’s a Żabka right around the corner for basics, but the real local market is just a few blocks toward the center.

What I really liked was how the staff seemed to get that travelers want insider info, not just the standard tourist spiel. They pointed me toward Księży Młyn – this old industrial complex that’s been turned into restaurants and galleries – which I probably would’ve missed otherwise. The walk there takes you through some of Łódź’s best street murals too. Parking was straightforward (there’s a spot behind the building), which honestly surprised me since most places in Polish city centers make you hunt around for ages. The 8.6 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s not luxury, but everything works well and the location really can’t be beat if you want to experience Łódź properly rather than just passing through. I mean, you step out the door and you’re already where things are happening.

To book a hotel in Lodz during major cultural events, travelers need early planning as this former textile capital draws visitors eager to experience its post-industrial transformation and cinema heritage.

Reviews of Loft Piotrkowska 37

  • Good location for a short city break. – Teresa from Poland – December 18, 2024 (8/10)

What could be improved: Pillows were too big for us and there was too much light coming inside trough large windows, there was occasional noise from the common corridor area, but overall, it was a great flat, very well equipped.

  • Exceptional – Kerstin from Estonia – May 8, 2024 (10/10)

    Great disain, clean

  • Great apartment where I could’ve stayed longer. – Lumi from Finland – March 21, 2024 (9/10)

Location was good, the apartment had everything we needed and was a pleasure to stay in.

What could be improved: Could’ve been cleaned better but overall everything was great.

  • Very nice and comfortable place to stay in Lodz. – Lina from Lithuania – November 6, 2023 (10/10)

I got very clear instruction from host how to access property.

What could be improved: no bad feeling.

  • It was ok thank you – Ali from Poland – September 1, 2023 (7/10)

    Location,decoration and comfortable bed.

What could be improved: Broken window handle, no corkscrew, I can’t open TV channels, not enough towel.

  • Amazing! – Patryk from United Kingdom – August 24, 2023 (10/10)

Very cosy apartment, comfortable bed ,big sofa, bog shower, big bath, all facilities which you need all there. Car park 2 min walk.Perfect location. Definitely worth it for this money which we paid.Recomended 100%

What could be improved: Small issue with the main door Big and heavy. My daughter 12 years old couldn't opened it

  • Central, well equipped and great price – Lien from France – August 7, 2023 (9/10)

Very central, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds

  • Good – Ilona from United Kingdom – May 23, 2023 (7/10)

location was great, stuff like oven, kettle in the property, good contact with owner, being able to check in a bit earlier, it wasn’t too loud as well despite being in the city centre

What could be improved: blocked shower drain since day 1, overflowing to living room, bedding wasn’t the most hygienic and twin bed REALLY uncomfortable

  • Great location and really nice design – Katarzyna from United Kingdom – April 22, 2023 (8/10)

Apartment looks really beautiful and kinda of luxury. Bathtub in bedroom is amazing. Big TV and really comfy sofa. And location is just amazing!

What could be improved: There’s no glasses or coffee mugs. Also no shower gel which was quite annoying as I arrive quite late so I couldn’t buy any, and I would expect this little things with such a great standard of apartment.

  • Good – Katrien from Belgium – September 7, 2022 (7/10)

The location was perfect: in the middle of the city so we had everything we needed on walking distance and the entrance was a bit secluded. Nice restaurant only a few steps away!
The room was modern and nicely decorated.

What could be improved: There was no airconditioning which made it very hard to sleep as it was 33°C outside during the day.
At night the location was a bit of a disadvantage as well as we had to open the windows because of the heat – lot of noise from talking people. There was no coffee machine.
The door to the bathroom (sliding door) is not wide enough. You can peek in through the gaps.
