The name had me expecting some seaside vibe (morski means “marine” in Polish), but this place is actually tucked away in Łódź – about as landlocked as you can get in Poland. That said, don’t let the quirky name fool you because this little gem really delivers on the loft promise.

I’ll be honest, when I first pulled up to the building on Tymienieckiego street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The address sounds intimidating if you’re not familiar with Polish street names, but it’s actually pretty straightforward once you’re there – just look for number 25c and you’re golden. The whole area has this interesting mix of residential blocks and newer developments, which I mean… that’s Łódź for you. The city’s been reinventing itself for years, and places like this are part of that transformation. What really won me over was the actual loft setup inside. These aren’t your typical cramped hotel rooms – there’s genuine space to breathe, and the industrial-meets-cozy aesthetic actually works. High ceilings, exposed elements, but still comfortable enough that you’re not sleeping in some stark concrete box. The 8.9 rating makes total sense when you experience it firsthand.

Honestly, the location grew on me the longer I stayed. Sure, you’re not in the heart of Piotrkowska Street (Łódź’s main drag), but that’s actually a blessing if you want to get some decent sleep. The neighborhood is quiet enough at night but still connected – you can easily get to the city center when you want to explore the restaurants or check out the revitalized factory districts that Łódź is famous for. Parking wasn’t the nightmare I’d anticipated either, which is always a relief when you’re dealing with Polish city centers. The staff seemed to actually know their stuff about the area too, not just the generic tourist spots but real recommendations. I remember asking about late-night food options and getting pointed toward this local spot that I never would’ve found otherwise. For a three-star place, the attention to detail surprised me – little touches that show someone’s actually thinking about the guest experience rather than just checking boxes. The Wi-Fi worked properly (always worth mentioning), the heating was consistent during my winter stay, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. Look, it’s not luxury, but it’s thoughtfully done in a way that makes you want to come back to Łódź just to stay here again.

  We are family came from Hong Kong and my mother in law and sister in law came from Ukraine our family reunited in loft Motriski apartment.we stayed within 6 day's. Apartment is clean, cozy, great facilities, good WiFi connection,convenient restaurants, convenient markets to buy fresh foods, overall we loved it.

  Good location, spacious apartments, large windows, clean, there is everything you need, except for a coffee maker, although the description on the website states that it is.
  
  What could be improved: The plumbing in the shower cabin and bathtub is faulty (water flows from the pipes, it is almost impossible to use) and water is slowly draining from the sink in the bathroom (probably a clogged drain). There was no liquid soap either in the bathroom or in the kitchen! The curtains partially detached from the top of the eaves, nothing to wipe the table with, three blankets, although the room is for 6 people! No one corrects the flaws, but they just clean it up nicely so that it is clean and that's all.
