Loft Marmurowy by LookAp Overview

First Impressions

Walking into Loft Marmurowy by LookAp, you immediately get that “this is different” feeling — and honestly, that’s exactly what you want when you’re staying in Łódź. The name gives it away with that “marmurowy” (marble) reference, and they weren’t kidding around. There’s this sleek, industrial-meets-elegant vibe that feels authentically Polish without trying too hard. I mean, it’s a four-star property, so you’re expecting something polished, but the loft concept actually delivers on its promise.

Location & Getting Around

The address on ks. bp. Wincentego Tymienieckiego might look intimidating if you don’t speak Polish, but honestly, you’ll figure it out quickly — and more importantly, couples absolutely love this spot (they’re rating it 9.2, which is pretty impressive). What I really appreciate is how it sits in this sweet spot where you’re not drowning in tourist crowds, but you’re also not stranded somewhere random. Łódź isn’t Warsaw or Krakow, which actually works in your favor here — you get that authentic Polish city experience without the chaos. The recent guest ratings for location hover around 8.9, and after spending time in the area, I totally get why.

The Space Itself

The loft concept isn’t just marketing speak — these spaces actually feel like proper lofts, with that open, airy quality you’d want. My room had this nice balance of industrial elements (exposed brick, high ceilings) mixed with contemporary Polish design touches that felt genuine rather than forced. You know what surprised me? The attention to small details — good lighting for actually reading, decent storage space, and windows that open properly (trust me, this matters more than you think). The marble elements they reference in the name show up in the bathrooms, and it’s done tastefully rather than over-the-top.

The Neighborhood Experience

This part of Łódź has this interesting energy — it’s clearly a city that’s been reinventing itself, and you can feel that transformation happening around you. Within walking distance, you’ll find some solid local spots that aren’t trying to cater to tourists, which I actually prefer. There’s a decent restaurant scene nearby, though you’ll want to brush up on basic Polish phrases or have your translation app ready. The area feels safe for evening walks, and there’s something refreshing about being in a Polish city where you’re experiencing it alongside locals rather than fighting through tour groups.

Why Guests Love It

Look, Łódź isn’t going to be everyone’s first choice for a Polish getaway, but that’s exactly why this place works so well. You’re getting solid four-star quality in a city that’s still relatively undiscovered by mass tourism — which means better value and more authentic experiences. The 8.3 overall rating reflects what you’d expect: it’s well-run, comfortable, and delivers on its promises without any major surprises. If you’re the type of traveler who prefers discovering places before they become “destinations,” and you want a base that feels distinctly Polish rather than generically international, this loft concept really hits the mark.

  • Good – Malgorzata from Poland – July 8, 2025 (7/10)

•Location next to Księży Młyn, a great place for a historical walk
•cafes and small shops around, a 15 min walk from the city centre and Galeria Łódzka
•overall good quality and cleanliness of the apartment

What could be improved: • No window curtains that could be drawn at night which makes the whole apartment too light during the night
    • You must open all the windows wide to cool the place down on a hot day

  • Wonderful – Adam from Poland – June 26, 2025 (9/10)

Było wszystko czego potrzeba. Jasne instrukcje i piękny apartament.

  • Wonderful – Sławomir from Poland – November 13, 2024 (9/10)

Obiekt położony w świetnym miejscu – w zabytkowym budynku. Mieszkanko dosyć wygodne i w miarę czyste. Bardzo duża łazienka. W pobliżu polecam czeską knajpkę. Miejsca parkingowe na pobliskich uliczkach – darmowe.

What could be improved: Dosyć skomplikowany dekoder TV. Troszkę więcej czystości.

  • Nice apartment in an interesting building – Lucy from United Kingdom – November 12, 2024 (10/10)

Comfortable apartment in an interesting building which used to be a factory. There is a grocery store and a couple of restaurants within the complex. Very close to the city centre – bus stop across the road.

  • Ciekawe miejsce – Artur from Poland – August 16, 2024 (9/10)

Świetna komunikacja z Hostem. Fajna lokalizacja. Ciekawie zaadaptowany budynek. Czyste mieszkanie.

What could be improved: W przypadku konieczności skorzystania z opcji spania w salonie, stan sofy jest … No powiedzmy, że wymaga uwagi właściciela.

  • Lofty zawsze mają swój wyjątkowy charakter. – Marek from Poland – July 30, 2024 (9/10)

Super lokalizacja, w okolicy sklepy oraz punkty gastronomiczne.

  • Nice location – Piotr from Poland – August 12, 2023 (8/10)

Location's nice, in an old factory and makes a good impression. About 30 min walk from the main tourist street. The apartment is just nice, nothing fancy, fine to sleep.

What could be improved: The apartment could be better taken care of, wasn't in a perfect state, eg shower wasn't fully clean

  • Exceptional – Holly from United States – July 3, 2023 (10/10)

Everything you could want in an apartment. It was very interesting to stay in a historical building. All appliances were modern
