The building itself has that industrial-chic vibe that works so well in this city, and you can tell they’ve put real thought into the design. I mean, Łódź has this whole post-industrial renaissance thing happening, and this four-star property fits right into that narrative without trying too hard.

The Studio Space

The loft-style studio is actually quite clever — they’ve maximized every inch without making it feel cramped. The high ceilings give you that airy feeling you want after a day of exploring, and the industrial touches (exposed brick, metal fixtures) feel authentic rather than forced. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details — proper lighting for reading, enough outlets where you actually need them, and a kitchenette that’s functional if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Biedronka. The bed was comfortable too, which honestly isn’t always a given in boutique places like this.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s where Loft Hideaway Studio really shines — Targowa Street puts you right in the heart of what locals call the “new Łódź.” You’re walking distance from Piotrkowska Street (the main pedestrian drag), but you’re not dealing with the noise and crowds every night. The area has this great mix of trendy cafes, art galleries, and regular neighborhood spots where you can actually see how people live here. I particularly loved being able to walk to Manufaktura shopping center when I needed something, but also having easy access to the more authentic parts of the city center.

Practical Perks

The staff genuinely knows their stuff about Łódź — they pointed me toward a few restaurants I never would have found on my own, including this fantastic pierogi place about ten minutes away. Public transport connections are solid from here; you can catch trams that’ll get you pretty much anywhere in the city without much hassle. What surprised me was how quiet it gets at night despite being so central — apparently the building has good soundproofing, because I slept really well even with the windows open.

Why Couples Love It

I can absolutely see why this place gets such high marks from couples. There’s something intimate about the loft setup that feels more like staying in a friend’s cool apartment than a hotel room. The neighborhood has plenty of romantic dinner options within walking distance, and honestly, Łódź itself is still enough of an off-the-beaten-path destination that you feel like you’re discovering something together. Plus, the value is excellent — you’re getting boutique hotel vibes at prices that won’t break the bank, which always puts people in a good mood when they’re traveling together.
