Łódź isn’t as touristy as Kraków or Warsaw, so you’re not dealing with drunk backpackers stumbling around at 3 AM – it’s more of a lived-in neighborhood feel. The area around Tymienieckiego has this mix of residential buildings and small businesses that makes it feel authentic rather than sanitized. Getting around is straightforward too; there’s decent public transport connections, and if you’re driving, parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in other Polish cities. I walked to the old textile district one morning – took maybe twenty minutes – and spent the afternoon exploring those converted factory spaces that Łódź is becoming known for. The host was responsive when I had questions about the heating system (which works perfectly fine, by the way), and check-in was smooth enough that I didn’t have to plan my whole travel day around it. Honestly, for a three-star spot, it punches above its weight in terms of comfort and location.
