I’ll be honest – when I first walked into Łódź Śródmieście Apartment – 35m2, Top location by Rentujemy, I was pleasantly surprised by how much space they managed to squeeze into those 35 square meters. The apartment sits right on Nawrot Street, which honestly couldn’t be better positioned if you’re trying to actually experience Łódź rather than just pass through it.

The thing about staying here is that you’re literally in the heart of Śródmieście – I mean, you can walk to Piotrkowska Street in about five minutes, which is basically the main artery of the city where all the good stuff happens. The trams rumble by pretty regularly (though it’s not as noisy as you’d expect), and there’s this great little żurek place just around the corner that I stumbled across on my second morning. Actually, the whole neighborhood has this lived-in feel that a lot of hotel districts just don’t have. You’ll see locals doing their shopping, kids heading to school, that sort of authentic daily rhythm that makes you feel less like a tourist.

What really impressed me was how thoughtfully laid out everything is inside. Sure, 35m2 isn’t huge, but whoever designed this space actually gets how people live and move around. The kitchenette has everything you need if you want to grab some pierogi from the market and heat them up, and honestly, the bed is more comfortable than what I’ve found in some four-star places. The WiFi works perfectly – I was working remotely for part of my stay and never had issues with video calls. One small thing though: the shower is definitely compact, so if you’re particularly tall, you might find yourself doing some creative maneuvering. The building itself feels solid and quiet, especially considering how central you are. I was there during a busy weekend and barely heard the neighbors.

Check-in was smooth – the Rentujemy team knows what they’re doing, and they actually respond to messages quickly, which isn’t always a given with apartment rentals. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area (welcome to any European city center), but there’s a paid lot about three blocks away that’s reasonable. The 9.2 rating makes total sense to me after staying here – it’s one of those places that just works without any drama or unpleasant surprises. You get exactly what you expect, plus a few nice touches you didn’t anticipate. For the price point and location, I’d definitely book it again when I’m back in Łódź.

  – bardzo ciepło i duszno, wentylator nie pomaga przy tak wysokich sufitach ( plus hałas z ulicy bo 1 piętro i plac budowy)
