I could walk to Piotrkowska Street (the main pedestrian strip) in maybe ten minutes, but honestly, I found myself hanging around the neighborhood more than I expected. There’s this great little bakery just down the block that opens ridiculously early – perfect for grabbing fresh bread before the crowds hit. And here’s the thing about parking that nobody tells you about Łódź: it’s a nightmare in most places, but having a dedicated spot here? Game changer. I mean, I watched people circle the block for twenty minutes looking for street parking while I just pulled right in.

The studio itself feels way more spacious than you’d expect from the photos. The balcony – and I’m talking a proper balcony, not some tiny Juliet thing – faces away from the street, so it’s surprisingly quiet even though you’re right in the city center. The AC was a lifesaver during my July visit (Łódź gets muggy in summer, trust me), and it actually worked well, unlike some places I’ve stayed where it’s more decorative than functional. What really impressed me was the attention to small details – good water pressure in the shower, blackout curtains that actually block light, and a little kitchenette that’s better equipped than my first apartment. The wifi was solid too, which mattered since I was working remotely for part of my stay.

I stayed for five nights and honestly started feeling like a local by the end. There’s something about having your own space with a balcony where you can have morning coffee while watching the city wake up – it’s completely different from the hotel experience. The check-in process was smooth (they send you detailed instructions ahead of time, which I appreciated), and when I had a question about the washing machine, someone got back to me within an hour. The building itself is quiet – mostly locals, not party tourists – so I slept better than I have at some four-star hotels. My only minor complaint? The elevator is tiny, so if you’re traveling with big suitcases, be prepared to make multiple trips. But honestly, for a three-star place with a 9.7 rating, I can see why people love it. It’s one of those places that just works – comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced. I’d definitely book it again if I’m back in Łódź.
