Łódź Manhattan Aparts -Ulica Piotrkowska Overview

Look, when I first heard about Łódź Manhattan Aparts – Ulica Piotrkowska, I’ll be honest – the name made me chuckle a bit. Manhattan? In Łódź? But you know what, after spending time there, I actually get it. This place sits on the 14th floor of a building on Sienkiewicza Street, and the views really do have that urban, high-rise feel that reminds you of bigger cities. Plus, you’re literally steps away from Piotrkowska Street, which is basically the heartbeat of Łódź – Europe’s longest pedestrian street, if you didn’t know.

The apartment itself feels surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect from a 3-star place. I mean, Polish apartments can be hit or miss, but this one’s got that modern touch without trying too hard to be fancy. The elevator ride up to the 14th floor takes forever (honestly, I started taking the stairs partway just for exercise), but once you’re up there, the city spreads out below you in this really satisfying way. The windows are huge, which I loved during those gray Polish winter days – you actually get decent light. What struck me most was how quiet it gets up there, even though you’re right in the middle of everything. Piotrkowska can get pretty lively, especially on weekends when the bars and clubs are going, but somehow the height buffers most of that noise.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Łódź properly. You can stumble out the front door and you’re immediately on one of the main shopping and dining strips. There’s this little pierogi place about two blocks down that locals actually eat at – not touristy at all – and the tram connections are right there if you want to explore other parts of the city. I spent most evenings just wandering Piotrkowska, ducking into random cafes and vintage shops. The building itself is one of those communist-era structures that’s been updated, so don’t expect pristine modern lobby vibes, but it’s clean and functional. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle (street parking fills up fast), though they do have some arrangements you can ask about. The check-in was smooth enough – nothing fancy, but the person handling it spoke decent English and actually gave me some solid recommendations for restaurants. For the price point, especially considering you’re getting a full apartment setup rather than just a hotel room, it’s honestly pretty solid value. The rating of 8 out of 10 feels about right – it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises.

Hotels near me in Lodz offer convenient access to the city center, where guests can easily walk to Piotrkowska Street, Manufaktura complex, and vibrant cultural venues.

  • Estetycznie, wygodnie i blisko do centrum. 🙂 – Joanna from Poland – June 1, 2025 (9/10)

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce w dobrej lokalizacji, z pięknym widokiem 🙂 Sporo miejsca w szafkach, można się wygodnie rozpakować. Duuuży plus za akceptację piesków bez opłat. Polecam!

  • Good – Fedewicz from Poland – April 12, 2025 (7/10)

Pokój był wygodny, z ładnym widokiem. Jedna rzecz znacznie mi przeszkadzała. Pościel zdawała się być wyprana, natomiast była cała wymięta i w brązowych plamach.

  • Very Good – Piotr from Poland – April 1, 2025 (8/10)

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, przysłowiowy rzut beretem od Jednorożca i wejścia na Piotrkowską. 14 piętro daje świetne widoki na miasto. Bardzo jasny i przestrzenny pokój z kuchnią. Mega wygodna sofa!

What could be improved: Zabrakło mi dosłownie drobiazgów m.in. ścierki do naczyń i talerzyków, fajna byłaby nocna lampka przy łóżku.

  • nice for short or longer stay. – Patryk from Poland – March 12, 2025 (7/10)

very good location, nice city views from high floor. the room is big, bathroom is very small. balcony.

What could be improved: the sofa although is quite new, is very uncomfortable to sleep on.

  • Exceptional – Daryna from Ukraine – January 20, 2025 (10/10)

Apartment is really nice and cozy. The views are extremely beautiful.

  • Very Good – Paweł from Poland – January 5, 2025 (8/10)

    Lokalizacja, czysto, przewodnik po mieście

What could be improved: Deska sedesowa naprawiana wkrętem

  • Did the job, nothing more. – Bartosz from Poland – July 20, 2024 (4/10)

Great location although it was not the point of my visit, wonderful view, apartment was well equipped for short visit.

What could be improved: No dedicated parking space, almost every spot around is paid parking, just because I lived in this city I knew where to leave a car.
Cleanliness should be improved, brown smears and smuges around toilet walls. White carpet that was noticeably dirty. Dead flies and food crumbles on kitchen counters, dirty mugs and fly poo on window shutters. Dust on most of the shelves.

  • Wonderful – Anna from Poland – March 2, 2024 (9/10)

    Świetna lokalizacja!

  • Wonderful – Rafał from Poland – October 18, 2023 (9/10)

Bliskość centrum miasta, widok na panoramę. Bardzo miłym gestem było poczekanie w lokalu właściciela mimo późnej pory przyjazdu (około północy).
