Limanowskiy village council Overview
You know what? When I first saw that Limanowskiy village council was listed as accommodation in Łódź, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. I mean, the name doesn’t exactly scream “hotel,” does it? But after staying there on Bolesława Limanowskiego street in the Baluty district, I actually get why it’s got such a solid 8.7 rating – sometimes the most unassuming places really surprise you.
The location is what really won me over, actually. Being right there on Limanowskiego puts you in this authentic part of Łódź that most tourists never see, which I loved. Baluty isn’t fancy – it’s working-class, real, with these amazing pre-war buildings mixed in with Soviet-era blocks. You’ll hear Polish conversations drifting from windows, smell dinner cooking from neighboring flats, and honestly? It feels like you’re living in the actual city instead of some sanitized tourist bubble. The tram connections are solid too (I used them constantly), and there’s this little corner shop maybe 50 meters away where the owner started recognizing me by day three. Walking to the city center takes about twenty minutes if you don’t mind the stroll, or you can hop on public transport – either way, you’re not stuck in the middle of nowhere.
What struck me most was how genuinely helpful the staff were. Check-in was smooth, and they seemed to actually care about making sure I was comfortable, not just going through the motions. The rooms are clean and functional – I mean, it’s a 3-star place, so don’t expect luxury, but everything worked properly and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The shower had good pressure (always a relief when traveling), and the heating kept things cozy during my October visit. Parking wasn’t an issue either, which is honestly a blessing in Łódź. The building itself has this sort of institutional charm – not exactly boutique hotel vibes, but there’s something oddly comforting about it. Nights were pretty quiet, even though you’re on a main street, and I slept well. I did notice the walls aren’t super thick, so if your neighbors are chatty, you might hear them, but it wasn’t a real problem during my stay. The whole experience felt authentic and unpretentious – like staying at a really well-run guesthouse where people actually live and work in the neighborhood. If you’re looking for Instagram-perfect interiors, this isn’t your spot, but if you want to experience Łódź like a temporary local while still having reliable, comfortable accommodation, it’s actually perfect.
To book a hotel in Lodz during major cultural events, travelers need early planning as this former textile capital draws visitors eager to experience its post-industrial transformation and cinema heritage.

Reviews of Limanowskiy village council
Everything would be ok for the price you pay, except for the bed mattress… – Gabrielė from Lithuania – August 17, 2025 (6/10)
Quite big apartment, parking around the house. The bed linen and towels were clean.
Comfortable with kids, cause apartment is on the first floor
What could be improved: Not very clean, the bed mattress was broken (wtf? how?), tv didn’t work. Coffee machine didn’t have capsules.Ok – Muszyńska from Poland – August 15, 2025 (8/10)
Lokalizacja jest w porządku przy stokrotce , na parterze
What could be improved: Włosy na pościeli oraz nie działające telewizory . Exceptional – Małgorzata from Poland – July 20, 2025 (10/10)

Mieszkanie na wyłączność – Jakub from Poland – May 18, 2025 (9/10)
Idealne miejsce dla ceniących sobie prywatność – po prostu samodzielne mieszkanie w bloku. Dla introwertyków pewnie też – kontakt z obsługą ograniczony do niezbędnego minimum 🙂
What could be improved: Lokal ogólnie czysty, może gdzieś w zakamarkach znalazły się drobne niedoskonałości. Są telewizory, ale nie znalazłem podstawowych nawet kanałów TV, jedynie Netflix.Wonderful – Gabriela from Poland – May 10, 2025 (9/10)
Duże wygodne łóżko. Dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. Polecam
