I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Layla Apartment on Rajdowa Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The building itself is pretty typical for this part of Łódź, you know, that classic Polish residential architecture that’s sturdy but not exactly Instagram-ready from the outside. But here’s the thing about this neighborhood – it’s actually one of those spots where real locals live, not just a tourist zone, which I kind of loved.

Once you’re inside though, it’s a completely different story. The apartment has this surprisingly cozy vibe that honestly caught me off guard. I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star place so you’re not getting marble bathrooms or anything, but everything feels… intentional? Like someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchen was way more functional than I expected – I actually ended up cooking a few meals there because there’s this great little market just a few blocks down Rajdowa where you can grab fresh produce. And can we talk about the bed situation? I’m usually pretty picky about mattresses (bad back, don’t ask), but I slept really well here. The rooms stay surprisingly quiet too, even though you’re right in a residential area where kids play outside during the day.

What really won me over was the whole setup for exploring Łódź. You’re close enough to the city center that you can walk to Piotrkowska Street – that’s the main pedestrian drag with all the restaurants and bars – in about 15 minutes if you don’t mind the stroll. But you’re far enough away that you’re not dealing with weekend party noise or tourist crowds right outside your window. There’s also decent tram connections nearby, which honestly makes getting around so much easier than trying to navigate parking downtown. The owner was pretty responsive too – I had a question about the Wi-Fi password and got a quick text back, no big production about it. Look, it’s not fancy, but it’s exactly what you want when you’re spending a few days in Łódź: clean, comfortable, and in a spot where you can actually experience how people live here. The 8.2 rating makes total sense to me – it delivers on what it promises without any pretense.

  Чисто и комфортно, все для короткой ночёвки есть. Не знала что есть лифт и поэтому поднялась на 6 этаж по лестнице… можно готовить еду есть все для этого ну кроме самой еды( соль , специи и масла нет) . Шумоизоляция средняя если что то происходит в подъезд то слышно.

  Lokal czyściutki, bardzo estetyczny i gustownie urządzony. Blisko do zoo, W pobliżu Biedronka, Żabka, w pobliżu przystanek tramwajowy, autobusowy, dobry dojazd do centrum.

  Bardzo czysty apartament, ładnie i modnie urządzony, na wyposażeniu są nawet gry dla dzieci – oczywiście skorzystaliśmy. Nie było też problemu z zaparkowaniem na osiedlowym parkingu. Plus za windę. W kuchni jest dokładnie to, czego potrzeba na krótki pobyt.
  
  What could be improved: Sypialnia jest przy pionie łazienkowym, w związku z czym dość głośno słychać spuszczanie wody w toalecie piętro wyżej.

  Mieszkanie czyste i przestronne. Wszystkie niezbędne przybory dostępne na miejscu. Szybki kontakt z właścicielką. Wizyta przebiegła pomyślnie 🙂

  Mieszkanie jest świeżo po remoncie, czyste, mili właściciele, którzy szybko reagują
  
  What could be improved: Łóżko jest po prostu okropne. Materac się zapada, przy każdym ruchu łóżko bardzo głośno skrzypi… Spaliśmy razem z synem, potem budził się z tego skrzypienia chyba 7 razy w ciągu nocy…
