The building itself is well-maintained (thank goodness, because you never know what you’re getting with apartment bookings), and when they say apartment 11, they mean it – the check-in was surprisingly smooth, none of that awkward waiting around wondering if you’re at the right door thing that happens sometimes.

What really got me though was stepping into the actual space. The apartment has this lived-in comfort that feels way more natural than most hotel rooms – I mean, there’s actual counter space in the kitchen where you can spread out your stuff, and the living area doesn’t feel like it was designed by someone who’s never actually relaxed in a living room before. But here’s the thing that sold me completely: the gym and sauna setup is legit. I was expecting some sad exercise bike in a closet situation, but they’ve actually put thought into it. The sauna – and I’m someone who’s pretty picky about saunas after spending time in Finland – gets properly hot and doesn’t feel like an afterthought. After a day walking around Łódź’s amazing street art scene (which, honestly, more people need to know about), coming back to your own private sauna situation is pretty fantastic.

The neighborhood gets quiet in the evenings, which is perfect if you’re trying to actually get some rest, but during the day there’s enough local life that you feel connected to the city. There’s a decent grocery store within walking distance – handy since you’ve got a full kitchen to work with – and getting to the city center or the Manufaktura complex is straightforward enough. Parking wasn’t the nightmare I was expecting either, which in Polish cities can be… well, let’s just say it can be an adventure.

Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places with higher star ratings that felt way less comfortable than this. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where someone clearly thought about what travelers actually want rather than just checking boxes. The space feels clean without that sterile hotel smell, everything works (including the Wi-Fi, which honestly can be hit-or-miss in apartment rentals), and you get your own little wellness retreat setup. If you’re planning to spend some real time in Łódź rather than just passing through, this is the kind of place where you can actually settle in and enjoy the city properly.

  Piękny i nowoczesny apartament, położony w cichej okolicy. Kuchnia jest bardzo dobrze wyposażona. W budynku znajduje się siłownia, stół do ping ponga, bilard, sauna, z których też mogliśmy korzystać. Fajne miejsce dla rodzin z dziećmi, przed budynkiem jest plac zabaw z małym boiskiem, blisko do parku. Serdecznie wszystkim polecamy.

  Mieszkanie przestronne, duży taras z widokiem na plac zabaw, czysto. Wszystko czego potrzebowalismy czyli reczniki, przybory kuchenne, suszarka na ubrania byly dostepne.
