The space is compact but smart – everything has its place, and there’s this nice flow between the sleeping area and the little kitchenette that doesn’t make you feel cramped. The bed is actually decent (I’ve learned not to take this for granted in budget accommodations), and they’ve got proper blackout curtains which saved my life since I’m one of those people who can’t sleep with any light creeping in. The kitchen setup is surprisingly functional too – not just a hot plate and a prayer, but actual cooking equipment if you want to grab groceries from the Biedronka down the street instead of eating out every meal.

What really sold me on this place, though, is how the host clearly gets what travelers actually need. Check-in was smooth – no standing around for thirty minutes while someone figures out the key situation. The WiFi actually works (tested it immediately, as you do), and there’s decent water pressure in the shower, which honestly puts it ahead of some fancier places I’ve stayed in Łódź’s city center. The neighborhood itself has this nice residential vibe – you’ve got your standard Polish apartment blocks, but it feels lived-in rather than run-down. There’s a decent little café about two blocks over where locals actually hang out, and the tram connections are solid if you want to explore Piotrkowska Street or the main shopping areas. Parking isn’t a nightmare either, which if you’ve ever tried to park near Polish universities, you’ll appreciate. The 9.6 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s not trying to be something fancy, but it nails everything it promises to do. For the price point and the location, you’re getting way more value than you’d expect.

  The apartment was very clean, well-equipped, and located in a new, secure gated building. A Żabka store in the same building made everyday needs easy to manage. The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of closet space. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. A great choice for a visit to Łódź.
