The Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, the shower has proper water pressure, and there’s actually enough space to unpack your suitcase without having to play Tetris with the furniture. I stayed during a particularly busy weekend when some festival was happening nearby, and while I could hear a bit of street noise – it’s Gdańska street after all, not some quiet residential lane – it wasn’t the kind of thing that kept me awake.

You know what really sealed the deal for me though? The location puts you within walking distance of Piotrkowska Street without being right on top of all the weekend chaos. It’s that sweet spot where you can stroll over for dinner or drinks, but you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. Plus, if you’re the type who likes to explore beyond the main drags, you’re perfectly positioned to wander into some of the cooler neighborhoods that most visitors never see. The staff – well, the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, no unnecessary small talk or trying to upsell you on breakfast packages you don’t need. With a 9.4 rating, I was curious if it could live up to the hype, but honestly, it delivers on the basics so well that you start to appreciate how rare that is. Sometimes the best travel experiences aren’t about marble bathrooms or champagne service – they’re about finding a place that gets the fundamentals right and doesn’t charge you extra for the privilege.

  We selected the ‘gold’ apartment because it has a balcony overlooking the internal courtyard which we thought would be quieter than the front of the building which faces a busy street. A bit tricky arriving by car as you have to get inside and upstairs to get the remote control to open the courtyard gates on a busy street with plenty of tram traffic. Parking in the secure courtyard was perfect. The second floor apartment was as described and the view through the trees in the courtyard was relaxing and private. Location is great with the huge Manufactura complex just down the road and Piotkowska just a 10 minute walk away. A couple of minor issues with the apartment – the cupboard door on the entertainment unit had come adrift and the base sheet on the bed was nowhere near big enough to tuck-in to the bed. A more serious problem for us was being unable to connect our laptop to their network impacting our ability to do secure banking. Connecting our phones was no issue. Our UK providers internet before we got into the apartment was also poor so we were unable to access the online arrival instructions. Save the access details before you arrive if this might be an issue for you. Having said all that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again. Highly recommended.

  I booked the yellow one bedroom studio during my one week work trip. The big apartment was super clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and fine bathroom. Everything necessary in the kitchen. A lot of stairs to the 3rd floor, no elevator. Good excercise for me, but it needs to be taken into account if you have a lot of luggage or someone with a disability. Nice balcony which faced towards the peaceful courtyard. Perfect location for me, good public transport.
  
  What could be improved: Since I was on a business trip, it would have been a good idea to have a small desk and a decent chair in the apartment. The kitchen island and the high bar stool were not really suitable for working. All the important information from the host came in Polish, but it didn't matter because I used a translation program
