The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel, which I actually prefer sometimes. The kitchen is fully equipped, so I grabbed groceries from the nearby Żabka and made breakfast while watching the morning light hit those communist-era blocks mixed with newer buildings – there’s something oddly beautiful about Łódź’s architectural mashup.

What surprised me most was how quiet it gets at night despite being in the city center. I mean, you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but by evening it mellows out considerably. The elevator ride to the 19th floor gives you a moment to decompress after walking around the city – and trust me, Łódź has more hills than you’d think. Check-in was straightforward, though I’d recommend coordinating arrival times since it’s not a traditional hotel setup. The whole DreamAp concept works well if you want that apartment vibe with decent service backing it up. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers exactly what it promises with some pleasant surprises thrown in. You know what sealed it for me? Sitting by that big window in the evening with a beer from the local Browary Łódzkie, watching the sunset paint the city orange and realizing I’d found this little gem that most travelers probably overlook because they’re rushing off to Krakow or Warsaw.

  What could be improved: Minusem jest 4 piętro w kamienicy, więc trzeba się trochę nanosić bagaże, ale to zdawaliśmy sobie z tego sprawę 😉
  Brakowało nam jakiś wieszaków na ścianie w łazience żeby gdzieś zawiesić ręczniki. Minusem był brak dostępu do Internetu. Sieć była, natomiast w obiekcie nie było nigdzie hasła do WiFi, gospodarz również nie odpisał na sms w tej sprawie. Byliśmy tylko na jedną noc więc nie było to dla nas dużym problemem.
