I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Jaracza Apart 2 by DreamAp on Stefana Jaracza street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The building itself is pretty typical for this part of Śródmieście, but once you take that elevator up to the 4th floor, apartment 19, you start to get why people book this place. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward (you know how some apartment rentals can be a total headache with key pickups), and the host actually responded to messages quickly, which honestly made all the difference after a long travel day.

What really struck me about this spot is how it sits right in the heart of Łódź’s city center without feeling touristy or overpriced. You’re walking distance from Piotrkowska Street – and I mean actually walking distance, not that “convenient 20-minute trek” some places claim. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel that I really appreciate; there’s a decent grocery store nearby, and you’ll hear the familiar sounds of trams rumbling by, but it’s not so loud that you can’t sleep. The apartment itself is pretty well-equipped for a 3-star place – the kitchen has what you need if you want to grab some local groceries and cook (which I’d recommend, since Polish supermarkets are kind of fascinating), and the Wi-Fi actually works consistently. I mean, the décor isn’t going to win any design awards, but everything feels clean and functional.

The thing about Łódź that catches a lot of visitors off guard is how walkable the center really is, and this location takes full advantage of that. You can stroll to most of the main attractions – the old textile factories turned into cultural spaces, some surprisingly good restaurants tucked into converted industrial buildings, that sort of thing. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this area (street parking fills up pretty quickly during the day), but honestly, you probably won’t need a car much once you’re settled in. The 7.4 rating makes sense to me – it’s not luxury, but it delivers on what it promises without any major surprises. There were a few minor things, like the bathroom could use some updating and the heating takes a while to kick in during colder months, but nothing that really detracted from the stay. If you’re looking for a straightforward base to explore Łódź without paying hotel prices, and you don’t mind the apartment-style setup, this place does the job well.

  Apartament jest wyposażony dobrze, blisko do dworca Łódź Fabryczna, blisko przystanki autobusowe oraz tramwajowe. Łazienka czysta, zadbana. W kuchni podstawowe wyposażenie – nie trzeba nic brać ze sobą.
  
  What could be improved: Materac w sypialni – jest z wielkim wgłębieniem, nie da sie na nim spać. Podłoga brudna, dzieci miały czarne skarpety.

  What could be improved: Na dzień dobry, po przyjeździe nieprofesjonalne podejście właściciela po odebraniu telefonu, zwalam na ,,zły dzień,, chociaż nerwy wkłada sie do kieszeni. Brak udogodnień wypisanych na stronie np. Brak suszarki do włosów, pomimo zapytań o nią- Brak odpowiedzi. Brakuje również szczotki do wc, może mało istotne, a jednak.

  Its a good location and the price.
  
  What could be improved: Cleanliness – we just took off our shoes, and within minutes our feet were black. It seems the floors hadn’t been washed properly before our arrival.
  The bed – it was impossible to sleep in the bedroom. The mattress is deeply sunken in the middle, so you automatically roll into the center and end up pressed against the person next to you. In this summer heat, that means waking up sweaty and uncomfortable.
  Temperature & ventilation – the apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator. If you’re coming with lots of luggage or small children, this can be a real challenge. Being on the top floor, it also gets very hot. Even though the windows open fully, they face an inner courtyard and don’t let in much fresh air.
  Because of all these issues, we ended up leaving the apartment one day earlier than planned.

  Lokalizacja świetna, spacerkiem do dworca Fabryczna. Ładnie odnowiony apartament na poddaszu kamienicy. Łatwe zameldowanie się.
  
  What could be improved: Materac w sypialni jest już dość zużyty, na środku robi się zapadnięta dziura. Pierwszej nocy też się okazało, że trzeba było rozebrać łóżko, bo materac był mocno wygięty – połowa sztachetek leżała na podłodze i trzeba było je zamontować na miejsce. Nie było garnków na indukcje, jedynie patelnia odpowiednia.

  Fajna lokalizacja, blisko dworca. Dzielnica czysta i bezpieczna. Lokal widać po remoncie, kilka braków ale to już wedle upodobań 😁 Czysto, schludnie. Super kontakt z właścicielem i natychmiastowa reakcja. Teren monitorowany. Polecam

  The host changed the flat as in this were some trouble but everything was really good. The flat is new and clean.
