The location is what really sold me on this place. You’re literally in Śródmieście, which means you can walk to Piotrkowska Street (the main pedestrian drag with all the bars and restaurants) in about ten minutes, maybe fifteen if you’re dragging luggage. What I love is that Kilińskiego itself is quiet enough that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. The tram stops are right there too – honestly, you don’t need a car in this part of town, which is good because parking in central Łódź can be… well, let’s just say it’s an adventure.

The rooms themselves feel more upscale than you’d expect from a 3-star property. I mean, they’ve clearly put some thought into the design – it’s modern without trying too hard to be trendy, if that makes sense. The beds are actually comfortable (not always a given in this price range), and the bathrooms are properly sized, not those cramped afterthoughts you sometimes get in converted buildings. What really impressed me was how quiet it stays inside, even though you’re in the city center. I’m a light sleeper, so this stuff matters to me. The air conditioning works properly too, which was a lifesaver during that weird heat wave last summer.

Check-in was smooth – the staff actually speak decent English, which isn’t always guaranteed outside Warsaw or Kraków. They seem to know the area well too, so if you’re wondering where to grab proper pierogi or which museums are worth your time, they’ll point you in the right direction. The breakfast situation is solid, nothing fancy but they get the basics right. Fresh bread, decent coffee, and they usually have some local touches that make it feel less generic than those big chain hotel spreads.

Here’s the thing about staying in this part of Łódź – you’re right in the middle of one of Poland’s most interesting urban renewal stories. The whole area around here has been transforming over the past few years, with old industrial buildings becoming art spaces and cool restaurants. It’s not quite as polished as Warsaw’s center, but that’s actually part of the charm. You feel like you’re seeing something authentic, not just another prettified tourist zone. Plus, your money goes further here than it would in the capital, and this hotel is a perfect example of that value proposition.

  We had a great stay in this apartment! The size is fantastic, with a huge lounge and plenty of space to move around. The location is perfect – just a short walk to the mall and the popular street in Łódź, with all its shops, restaurants, and attractions. Check-in and check-out were super easy and hassle-free. The apartment was well-equipped with enough towels, bedding, and kitchen utensils.
  
  What could be improved: The lack of a microwave was a real inconvenience, especially if you plan on heating up leftovers or cooking certain meals. Additionally, the bed and sofa bed weren't the most comfortable, but they were doable for our short stay.
