I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Hotel Ambasador Chojny on Kosynierów Gdyńskich, I wasn’t expecting much from this corner of Łódź. The area’s pretty residential, you know, not exactly where you’d picture a hotel. But that actually turned out to be one of its biggest selling points. While most visitors end up staying closer to the city center, this spot gives you a real taste of how locals live, and honestly, it’s refreshing after dealing with touristy areas all day.

The hotel itself has that solid, no-nonsense vibe that I’ve come to appreciate in Polish hospitality. It’s a proper 3-star place – nothing fancy, but everything works the way it should. The rooms are clean and surprisingly spacious, with decent beds that don’t leave you feeling like you wrestled a pretzel all night. What I really liked was how quiet it gets in the evenings. Being tucked away from the main thoroughfares means you can actually sleep without earplugs, which is more than I can say for some places I’ve stayed in busier parts of the city. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay comfortable too – not in that over-the-top way that feels fake, but in a practical, “let me help you figure out the tram system” kind of way.

Getting around from here is actually pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it. There’s a decent tram connection that’ll get you into central Łódź without too much hassle, and if you’re driving, parking isn’t the nightmare it can be elsewhere in the city. I mean, you’re not walking distance from Piotrkowska Street or anything, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want – a place to decompress after a day of exploring without paying premium prices for location. The 8.1 rating makes total sense to me because this place delivers on what it promises without trying to be something it’s not. It’s reliable, comfortable, and the kind of place where you can spread out your stuff, plan your next day, and not worry about whether you’re getting good value for your money. If you’re the type who values substance over style and prefers exploring a city like a local rather than staying in the obvious tourist bubble, this place will work really well for you.

  The hotel has really great spa and swimming pool. The room for three people were comfortable and wide. The breakfast was delicious.
  
  What could be improved: While we stayed at the hotel there was some repair work, and right under our balcony and next to our room were repair workers, and they were really loud. The room wasn’t equipped with hairdryer.

  Beda was so comfortablas that was the most importan think after long journey.Food was good too , car park space was safe and large enough for eweryone
  
  What could be improved: Hotel is nice, ofcourse can see that there is vibe that this hotel is there long time 🙂
  The only problem there is woth sockets, by the bed if i wanna charge something that is not many option, but the rest is good 🙂

  It was very clean, the food was very good, and the staff were very helpful. Would fully recommend.
  
  What could be improved: It was in a quite suburb of the city, with residential houses, no shops or bars local (well from what I could see), it was dark when we arrived, so might have missed them.

  Very good Breakfast. Also personal wich made the breakfast eat when breakfast is going to close, there you see that the food is good and fresh, when even they eat it. (I saw other hotels with breakfast wich was not good at all…)

  Nice location in a green zone. Spacy room. Silence around, view to the outdoor pool and the park. SPA. Ok breakfast.
  
  What could be improved: The hotel is a bit old fashioned and requires some renovation. Still, it didn’t bothered us much.
