The building itself has that solid, pre-war Polish architecture that I’ve grown to love; thick walls that actually keep the street noise down (trust me, I’m a light sleeper and this matters). What really got me was how the three-bedroom setup worked perfectly for our group – we weren’t cramped like we would’ve been in hotel rooms, and honestly, having a proper kitchen meant we could grab fresh bread and those amazing Polish pastries from the bakery down the street and actually enjoy them with real coffee in the morning.

The location is what really makes this place shine, though. You’re maybe a ten-minute walk to Piotrkowska Street, which is basically Łódź’s main artery for restaurants and nightlife, but you don’t have to deal with the weekend crowds right outside your window. I actually found myself walking everywhere – the tram stops are close if you need them, but there’s something about this neighborhood that just invites strolling. The apartment manager was refreshingly straightforward during check-in (none of that overly formal hotel reception stuff), and when our group had a minor issue with the wifi, they sorted it out within an hour. Look, it’s a 3-star place with an 8.3 rating, so you’re not getting luxury resort vibes, but what you are getting is authentic, comfortable space in a city that doesn’t get nearly enough credit. The bathroom could use a small update and the furniture isn’t Instagram-worthy, but everything works well and feels clean and lived-in rather than sterile. If you’re the type who wants to experience Łódź like you actually live there for a few days rather than just passing through, this is exactly the kind of place that’ll make that happen.

  Lokalizacja była korzystna , zdjęcia mieszkania zgadzały się z tym jak wygląda mieszkanie w realu. Dużo miejsca , wyposażenie kuchni było .
  
  What could be improved: Podłogi były nie pozamiatane , przez co wszędzie na podłodze było dużo kłębów kurzu , kanapa się nie rozkładała , więc mogły spać tam dwie mniejsze osoby . Dwie małe rozkładane kanapy jednoosobowe były bardzo niewygodne .

  What could be improved: – While free parking was listed, the parking area was very small. The first night we couldn't find a lot and had to pay and park outside. The 2nd day, we found a vacant lot and immediately got told off by a resident that parking was for long-term residents only. So we didn't get free parking at all. : (
  
  Chores on arrival:
  – No toilet paper! When we asked the host, we were told to buy our own and claim money from them. Not the kind of thing we wanted to hear after a long drive.
  – Dishes in the dishwasher were not unloaded and checked for cleanliness. Many of the dishes were encrusted with dried food; we had to scrub the dishes before we could use them.
  – Wet bedlinens and towels from the last guest were on the drying rack. Again, we had to move them away so we could do our own laundry.
  
  – Maybe we were spoiled by other hosts, but we were accustomed to items like hand towels, kitchen towels, paper towels, simple food condiments, coffee, tea, aluminum foil, toiletries, and toiletries shelf being provided at apartments of similar class and price.
  
  – Translucent curtains; it became very bright in the rooms at 5 am in summer.
  
  – Stated 2 bathrooms on listing, but it's more accurate to describe it as 1 toilet and 1 shower.
  
  – Only the living room had an air-con. To cool the rooms, you had to leave the bedroom doors open.
  
  – Building exterior was quite dilapidated — although we did not feel that the neighborhood was unsafe.
