Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Expo Home Apartment by PinPoint on Gdańska Street, I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard residential building. But you know what? Sometimes the best places hide in plain sight, and this 4-star spot really surprised me in all the right ways.

The thing about staying here is that you’re actually living like a local in Łódź, not just passing through like a typical tourist. Gdańska 141A might not sound glamorous, but it puts you right in a neighborhood where real people live and work – I mean, there’s something refreshing about grabbing your morning coffee from the same place the guy next door goes to every day. The entrance through Door B threw me off initially (I spent a solid five minutes looking for the main entrance like an idiot), but once you figure out the system, it’s actually pretty straightforward. The apartment itself… well, it’s got that clean, modern vibe without feeling sterile, if that makes sense. Everything works the way it should, which honestly is more than I can say for some fancier places I’ve stayed.

What really sold me on this place was how quiet it gets at night – and trust me, in a city like Łódź, that’s not always guaranteed. The soundproofing is solid, so even though you’re on a fairly busy street, you can actually get some decent sleep. During the day, you’re close enough to walk to most of the interesting bits of the city, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with crowds of tourists stumbling around. The rating of 8.7 makes perfect sense once you’ve been there for a few days – it’s one of those places that grows on you rather than hitting you with flashy first impressions. The staff at PinPoint clearly know what they’re doing; check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about the heating (because let’s face it, Polish winters are no joke), they sorted it out without any drama. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I needed to be in Łódź for more than just a quick visit. It’s got that comfortable, lived-in feeling that makes you want to stick around and actually explore the neighborhood instead of just rushing off to the next tourist trap.

  Bardzo czysto!!! Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem obiektu!!! Wyposażenie obiektu doskonałe, szczególnie na dłuższy pobyt (pralka, żelazko, deska do prasowania, suszarka). Bardzo duży taras (wyposażony w wygodne meble wypoczynkowe) z widokiem na miasto. W bezpośrednim pobliżu znajduje się MCDonalds, Żabka, Pizzomat 24/7, gabinety masażu, kosmetyczny, solarium i wiele innych.

  Check-in was smooth. The apartment is large and fashionable. Everything was clean and presentable. Storage in the apartment is ample.
  
  What could be improved: There is an apartment on the same floor of the same building for 45% less money and it is far more comfortable! I expected a lot more given the price of this apartment. The furniture is very uncomfortable and cheap! There are almost no kitchen essentials. The Wi-Fi is so slow it's almost unusable, working from home will be a struggle! They provided none of the commonly available things like towels, soap, etc. The host ignored a request for a second set of keys so that we could both go out in different directions without organizing who would take the keys and return first. There is no oven and no toaster.
