The place really does feel like someone took a slice of contemporary design and dropped it right into the heart of Baluty district.

What struck me first was how quiet it gets at night, which is honestly surprising considering you’re still well within Łódź proper. The building itself sits on this tree-lined stretch where most of the foot traffic dies down after evening hours – perfect if you’re someone who needs actual sleep to function (guilty as charged). The apartment has these large windows that let in tons of natural light during the day, and I mean tons. I found myself working by the window most mornings with my coffee, watching locals head to work along Drewnowska. There’s something oddly comforting about that routine when you’re traveling. The interior design leans heavily into clean lines and neutral colors – very Instagram-worthy if that’s your thing, but more importantly, it just feels uncluttered and calm. The kitchen is actually functional too, not one of those hotel kitchenettes where you can barely boil water without setting off smoke alarms.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location puts you close enough to Łódź’s main attractions without being right in the tourist chaos. You’re maybe a 15-minute tram ride from Piotrkowska Street, which is perfect because honestly, staying directly on Piotrkowska can get pretty loud on weekends. The Baluty area has this authentic, lived-in feel that I found way more interesting than some of the more polished parts of the city. There’s a decent grocery store within walking distance, and I discovered this little bakery about two blocks over that makes incredible rogale – definitely worth the early morning walk. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, no lengthy speeches about amenities or house rules, just keys and a genuine “let me know if you need anything.” The building has secure entry, which gave me peace of mind leaving my laptop and camera gear there during day trips. Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving – street parking is hit or miss, but there are paid lots nearby if you don’t mind walking a few extra minutes. Overall, it’s one of those places that just works without trying too hard to impress you, which honestly impressed me more than flashy lobbies or over-the-top service ever could.

  Bardzo ładne i przestronne mieszkanie wykończone w wysokim standardzie. W bardzo fajnej lokalizacji blisko manufaktury i innych atrakcji. Cicha okolica także było cicho w mieszkaniu.
  
  What could be improved: Brak informacji, ze nie ma windy, troszkę niefajnie biorąc pod uwagę, że walizki trzeba wnosić na 2 piętro. Jak ktoś ma zdrowie to ok, ale nie każdy moze dźwigać. Brak żarówki w lampie w dużym pokoju to tak na marginesie :).
