Dream Aparts – Piotrkowska 33 Overview

I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Dream Aparts – Piotrkowska 33, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The building sits right on Łódź’s famous Piotrkowska Street, which is basically the heartbeat of the city, and you know how these main drags can be… sometimes the charm gets lost in all the tourist hustle. But actually, this place surprised me in the best way.

The thing about staying here is that you’re literally in the middle of everything that matters in Śródmieście. I mean, step outside and you’re on Europe’s longest pedestrian street – which sounds like a travel brochure thing to say, but honestly, it’s pretty cool when you’re actually walking it at night with all the street performers and that gentle buzz of people heading to dinner. The apartment itself has this sort of understated comfort that I really appreciated. It’s not trying to be flashy (this is a 3-star place after all), but everything works the way it should, and the kitchen actually has proper utensils – you’d be amazed how many places skimp on that. The 7.7 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not perfect, it gets the important stuff right.

What I really loved was how quiet it gets once you close the windows, despite being right in the action. The street can get lively, especially on weekends when people are bar-hopping around Piotrkowska, but the building has decent sound insulation. I’d wake up, make coffee (good coffee maker, by the way), and watch the city come alive from the window – there’s something oddly satisfying about being above it all while still being part of it. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby that’s trying too hard to impress. And parking… well, you’ll want to ask about that ahead of time because this part of town can be tricky, but they’ve got options figured out. If you’re the type who likes to really explore a city on foot and wants a proper base that doesn’t break the bank, this place hits that sweet spot between location and value that’s getting harder to find these days.

Reviews of Dream Aparts – Piotrkowska 33

  • Bad – Zdenek from Czech Republic – August 13, 2025 (1/10)

What could be improved: Accomodation was not realized. Entry code was not valid. Reclamation on telefonic numbers, showed on door, with no answer. After to hours waiting, we went a paid other hotel. I wish return money paid for the accomodation. Zdeněk Janků

  • I recommend – Mahdi from Poland – May 5, 2025 (8/10)

Clean, central location on Piotrkowska Street, comfortable.

What could be improved: Tight toilet, but not bad, still usable. there was no shampoo🤔

  • Very Good – Paulina from Poland – March 12, 2025 (8/10)

excellent location, comfortable bed, easy check in and check out, clean

What could be improved: shower was a bit clogged so the water didn't want to go down, and the water took ages to get warm, had to shower in lukewarm water

  • Good – Jacek from United Kingdom – February 5, 2025 (7/10)

I like location and general standard

What could be improved: Room was cold even after long usage of radiator, lack of radiator in the bathroom. We needed to use additional blanket. Towels didn't smell fresh. Duvet was too small for two people.

  • Perfect low budget place – Shinobi from Belarus – February 4, 2025 (10/10)

    All was perfect

  • Pleasant – Carvajal from Poland – November 5, 2024 (6/10)

    Location

What could be improved: Staff didnt pick up the phone and didnt sen code on time to enter the place.
The apartment is located in a really old building.
It seems abandoned, almost no one lives there. The place is neglected and very humid.
The bathrrom had such a really bad smell and the water in the shower remained stagnant.
The mattress was uncomfortable. Rather sponge than mattress. No shampoo, no shower gel.

  • Fair – Oleg from United Kingdom – October 26, 2024 (5/10)

This apartment is a mixed bag – It is very small, it is not for two people in my opinion, plus we have few issues at beginning, and wanted to change apartment, but stuff was very helpful and fixed everything within few hours.

Location of this apartment is perfect, within few minutes of restaurants, cafes and shopping.
It has full shared kitchen, with tea and cofee provided for free. Entrance (yard) is very old, and dirty, but apartment itself is fully renovated.

So if you travel alone, it will be all right, it is too smal for two people, and can be claustrophobic, but all that is balanced by nice staff and location.

What could be improved: It's small. Photos are a bit deceiving.

  • Very Good – Agnes from China – October 23, 2024 (8/10)

position, nice staffs(giving instructions via app), cleanness, big and beautiful room, quietness, facilities, price

What could be improved: a little bit dangerous feelings (the yard is not much like the main street buildings, only pins are used for every door to the room, no reception table/staffs can only be contacted via app)

  • Great value for money and excellent location – Bartosz from Poland – July 26, 2024 (7/10)

Very good location, comfortable bed, clean, easy to check in and check out. Quite a nice place for a short stay.

What could be improved: One of the towels was still wet, the floor and the whole shower cabin were wet as well. Despite good instructions it was kind of hard to find the apartment. Some better marking would be great!

  • Wonderful – Iga from Ireland – April 8, 2024 (9/10)

    Cleanliness, furnishing, shower, comfy bed

What could be improved: Only thing is that there was no window blind at the bottom window, just curtains but they were enough to cover up
