You know what surprised me about DREAM APARTMENTS – Wschodnia 34? How quiet it actually gets at night, even though you’re right in the heart of Śródmieście. I mean, Łódź isn’t exactly Warsaw when it comes to street noise, but still – I expected more hustle and bustle being so centrally located. The building itself has this solid, pre-war feel to it that immediately made me think “okay, these walls are actually thick enough to sleep through anything.”

The apartments themselves are honestly much more spacious than what you’d typically find at this price point in Polish city centers. I stayed in one of the one-bedroom units, and the kitchen was actually functional – not just a mini-fridge with a hot plate slapped in a corner. You’ve got proper counter space, decent-sized appliances, and enough room to spread out if you’re staying for more than just a weekend. The bathroom had this surprisingly good water pressure too, which honestly made my mornings so much better. Little things like that matter when you’re trying to get ready for meetings or sightseeing, you know? The Wi-Fi was solid throughout my stay – I worked from the living area a few times without any issues.

What I really appreciated was how walkable everything is from Wschodnia Street. You’re literally a ten-minute stroll from Piotrkowska Street, which is where you’ll want to be for restaurants and nightlife anyway. The Manufaktura shopping center is close enough that you could walk there if the weather’s decent, though I’d probably grab a tram if it’s one of those gray, drizzly Łódź days. Speaking of trams – there’s a stop practically around the corner, so getting anywhere in the city is pretty straightforward. The staff was refreshingly straightforward too, no fake smiles or over-the-top hospitality, just efficient Polish service that gets things done. Check-in was smooth, they answered my questions about local restaurants without trying to upsell me on anything, and when I had a minor issue with the heating (it was a bit too warm, actually), they sorted it out the same day. For a 3-star place, it honestly feels more polished than that – the 8.9 rating makes total sense when you factor in the value you’re getting here.

  Location was perfect. Well informed on arrival regarding accomodations entry details. People on duvet was too small for size of bed. hand to help.

  Great location, the Appartment and whole building is recently renovated, everything is new.. We had a room with private bathroom and shared kitchen with another room. Kitchen was well equipped. All in all it was a good experience, great value for money.
  
  What could be improved: We were there at the end of April and it was still pretty cold inside the building, the heating didn't do much.
  The curtain in the room is a pretty small and it doesn't cover the whole bedrom window, which is a problem since the window is facing the courtyard and the room is in ground floor.
  We couldn't use the stove, it was a really simple one and it looked as if it was working, but it didn't produce any heat.

  What could be improved: Broken bathroom, gate of access to the building broken the morning of my check out, no contact with nobody so I could ask for help. Finally, I sneak thru tue gate …. thanks to this situation I eas late at my work

  Everything was great – the location, comfort, facilities, and price. The place was clean overall, except for some yellow spots on the toilet, which was unexpected.
