The windows must be decent quality because I barely heard the trams going by (and trust me, Łódź has plenty of them).

Here’s what I really appreciated – the location puts you within walking distance of Piotrkowska Street, which is basically the main artery of the city, but you’re far enough away that you’re not dealing with weekend party noise. Getting around is actually pretty straightforward from here; the tram connections are solid, and if you’re driving, parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in some parts of the city. The 9.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s one of those places where everything just works smoothly. Check-in was hassle-free, the WiFi didn’t cut out every five minutes, and the apartment was genuinely clean, not just “hotel clean” where they’ve sprayed air freshener over questionable surfaces. I’d definitely book this again, especially if you want something that feels more like a proper apartment than a cramped hotel room, but with all the conveniences handled for you.
