I appreciated the attention to lighting especially; there’s nothing worse than trying to read or work in a poorly lit hotel room, and they’ve clearly thought about that. The soundproofing is pretty decent too, which matters when you’re staying near a street like Targowa that can get busy during the day.

Honestly, the location is one of those things that grows on you. At first glance, you might think you’re a bit removed from the main tourist action, but that’s actually part of the appeal. You’re close enough to walk to the more interesting parts of Łódź – the revitalized Piotrkowska Street is totally doable on foot if you don’t mind a bit of urban exploring. Plus, and this is something I always notice, parking isn’t the nightmare it can be in other parts of the city. There’s something to be said for being able to actually find a spot without circling for twenty minutes.

The staff here seems to genuinely know their stuff about the city, which I’ve learned to really value. They’re not just reciting tourist board talking points – they actually had useful suggestions about where to grab coffee in the morning (turns out there’s a great little place just a few blocks away that locals frequent) and which tram lines make sense if you want to venture further out. It’s that kind of local knowledge that can make or break a stay, especially in a city like Łódź where the best experiences aren’t always the most obvious ones.

Look, I won’t pretend this is the fanciest place you’ll ever stay – it’s a solid four-star property, not some luxury resort. But there’s something refreshing about a hotel that delivers exactly what it promises without trying to oversell itself. The whole experience feels… I guess the word is authentic? You’re staying in a real neighborhood, in a building that respects both modern comfort and the city’s character, with people who actually care about making sure you have a good time in their city. For what you pay, and especially considering you’re getting genuine quality in a location that lets you experience Łódź like someone who actually lives there rather than just passing through, it’s honestly a pretty great deal.

  Jasno, czysto z dobrze wydzielonymi strefami dzięki czemu idealnie wykorzystano wielkość metrażu. Dla 4 osobowej rodziny idealnie. Apartament bardzo dobrze wyposażony. Świetna lokalizacja, cisza, spokój – a bardzo blisko ścisłego centrum. Wszystko było jak należy. Na gigantyczny plus – właściciel , niezwykle empatyczny i pomocny.   Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Budynek cały bardzo zadbany a rejon monitorowany. Dużo miejsc parkingowych w okolicy. Mieszkanie ładne urządzone z pomysłem dla osób spędzających czas od 1 do 5 dni. Później trochę brak szafek na ubrań.
  
  What could be improved: Bardzo mała ilość sztućców talerzyków. Szafka pod telewizorem fajna ale wypada aby też takie miejsce wytrzeć z kurzu.

  Mieszkanie w odremontowanej kamiennicy, niedawno wykończone lecz widać ślady użytkowania – zalane ściany, niesprawne, urwane lampki w sypialni .
  Wygodne łóżko z czystą pościelą, dostępne ręczniki. Dodatkowo rozkładana kanapa, niestety po rozłożeniu mało estetyczna.

  Fajne miejsce na krótki pobyt. Ogólnie czysto, pościel świeżutka, reczniki także. Dostępna herbata i cukier, gdyby ktoś potrzebował.
  
  What could be improved: W przypadku pobytu dla 3-4 osób konieczność spania na kanapie w salonie, która po rozłożeniu jest nieprzyjemna w wygladzie, jest bardzo poplamiona. Wąskie prześcieradła do tego i brak szerszych kołder. Przydałyby się dwie lub jedna duża.
  W łazience czysto oprócz prysznica.
  Przydałyby się jeszcze 2 krzesła.
