DeLux9 Overview

Honestly, when I first walked into DeLux9 on Piotrkowska Street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect – the entrance is tucked into one of those classic Łódź tenement buildings that could either be hiding something amazing or, well, not so much. But you know what? This little 3-star spot actually surprised me in the best way.

The thing about staying right on Piotrkowska is that you’re literally in the heart of everything that matters in Łódź. I mean, you step outside and you’re on Poland’s longest pedestrian street – which sounds like tourist brochure nonsense until you’re actually there at 10 PM and the whole strip is buzzing with people heading to bars, street performers doing their thing, and that amazing pierogi place (Pierogarnia Stary Młyn) just a few minutes’ walk away. The hotel itself sits in the Śródmieście district, and I’ve got to say, the location made me feel like I was getting the real Łódź experience rather than being stuck in some generic business district.

What really won me over, though, was how the staff seemed to actually care about making sure I had what I needed. Check-in was smooth – no awkward waiting around or confusing key card explanations. The rooms are clean and honestly more spacious than I expected for the price point, with that solid 7.9 rating making perfect sense once you settle in. Sure, it’s not going to blow you away with luxury touches, but the beds are comfortable and the Wi-Fi actually works (which, let’s be real, is half the battle these days). I did notice some street noise in the evenings – that’s just life when you’re on Piotrkowska – but it dies down pretty reasonably, and honestly, the energy of being right in the middle of everything made it worth the trade-off. The building itself has that old-world Polish charm that you either love or find a bit rough around the edges, but I found it kind of endearing. There’s something authentic about staying somewhere that feels connected to the city’s textile industry history rather than some sterile modern chain. If you’re the type who wants to walk to Manufaktura shopping center (about 15 minutes), grab dinner at one of the local milk bars, or just wander the street art scene that Łódź is becoming known for, this place puts you right where you want to be without breaking the bank.

  Super lokalizacja i bardzo wygodne czyste mieszkanie. Trochę torebek z herbatą w pudełku w kuchni – bardzo fajny gest ze strony właściciela.
  
  What could be improved: Mały problem z ciepłą wodą. Bardzo długo trzeba czekać aż popłynie cieplejsza woda. Cieplejsza, nie gorąca. Więc przy zimnej listopadowej pogodzie trudno się zagrzać pod ciepłym prysznicem czy nawet przemyć ręce gorącą wodą.

  Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Do wszystkich miejsc do których chciałem się udać, miałem blisko piechotą. Dodatkowo przy samej lokalizacji, blisko żabka, galeria z Lidlem.
