I’ll be honest, when I first pulled up to DeLux14 – apartament on Kapitana Stefana Pogonowskiego street, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. You know how some places surprise you though? This was definitely one of those moments. The building itself sits in this interesting part of Łódź where you’ve got residential vibes mixed with just enough urban energy to keep things interesting – and honestly, that 8.7 rating starts making sense the moment you step inside.

What really got me was how the apartment actually feels like someone’s home rather than a sterile hotel room. I mean, sure, it’s a 3-star place so you’re not getting marble everything, but there’s this genuine attention to detail that you don’t always find. The kitchen setup is surprisingly well-equipped – I actually ended up cooking breakfast a couple mornings because the local grocery store is just a short walk away, and there’s something nice about having that option. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings, which was perfect after spending days wandering around Łódź’s busier areas. You’ll hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that kept me awake at night.

Location-wise, you’re positioned really well for exploring both the artsy districts and the more traditional parts of the city. I found myself walking to Piotrkowska Street pretty regularly – it’s totally doable on foot if you don’t mind a 15-20 minute stroll, or there are decent public transport connections nearby. What I appreciated most was having a proper base to come back to after long days of sightseeing. The apartment has this lived-in comfort that makes you want to actually spend time there, maybe grab some local wine and plan the next day’s adventures. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward hovering around a front desk situation. It’s the kind of place where you get your own space and privacy, but you know someone’s available if you need help with anything. For what you’re paying, especially considering you get a full apartment setup in a city that’s becoming more popular with travelers, it honestly feels like pretty solid value.

  Выдатныя апартаменты. Ёсць усё неабходнае. Утульнае асвятленне. Яго вельмі шмат і можна уключыць зручную для сабе камбінацыю.
  Мы прыехалі ў Лодзь на канцэрт, так што было вельмі зручна што Atlas Arena ў 20 хвілінах ад кватэры.

  Bardzo dobra lokalizacja ( blisko dworzec Łódź Kaliska i Atlas Arena), kuchnia bardzo dobrze wyposażona, przestronny salon, fajnie zaaranżowana sypialnia.
  Właściciel bardzo rzetelny, po kontakcie z nim i pytaniu o szybszą godzinę odbioru kluczy po paru minutach odzwania i przesyła kody dostępu do mieszkania.

  The location was good and the layout of the apartment was nice. Free parking in the yard (if there was free space).

  What could be improved: Podobało mi się lecz brakowało małych kosmetyków no i choćby kilku torebek herbaty, małego słoiczka kawy.

  W mieszkaniu wszystko co potrzeba, byliśmy na żużel więc na stadion bliziutko 🙂 równiez do Piotrkowskiej bliziutko 🙂 cisza i spokój, wszystko w jak najlepszym porządku 🙂
