You know what surprised me most about DeLux12? It’s this unassuming little place on Radwańska street that completely exceeded my expectations – and I mean, with a 9/10 rating, I probably should have seen it coming, but honestly, three-star hotels can be hit or miss. The moment I walked into the lobby, there was this immediate sense that someone actually cares about this place. It’s not flashy or trying too hard, just… well-maintained and thoughtful in a way that makes you feel like you’re staying somewhere special without breaking the bank.

The location on Radwańska is actually pretty clever – you’re in this residential area that feels authentically Łódź (not touristy at all), but you can easily walk to the main attractions without dealing with all the noise and chaos of the city center. I loved that I could grab breakfast at this little café around the corner where locals hang out, and the staff there got used to seeing me after just two days. The rooms themselves have this clean, modern vibe without being sterile – good lighting, comfortable beds that don’t creak when you move, and the kind of blackout curtains that actually work. Small thing, but the shower pressure was fantastic, which you honestly can’t take for granted in older European buildings.

What really sets this place apart though is the attention to detail and the staff. Check-in was smooth (they spoke English well, which helped since my Polish is embarrassingly limited), and when I mentioned I was there for work meetings, they actually suggested a quieter room away from the street – I didn’t even ask for that. The breakfast spread was simple but fresh, with local touches that made it feel special rather than the usual continental hotel fare. And here’s something you won’t find in the official descriptions: the evening crowd at the little bar downstairs is a mix of business travelers and locals, creating this nice, low-key atmosphere where you can actually have a conversation. Parking was straightforward too, which if you’ve ever driven in Łódź, you know that’s not always a given. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s one of those places that proves star ratings don’t tell the whole story.

  2. Wyposażenie – bez zastrzeżeń.

  What could be improved: 1. Łóżko w sypialni mogłoby być bardziej stabilne – druga osoba odczuwa każdy ruch osoby obok – możliwe że to kwestia konstrukcji i regularnej kontroli dokręcenia śrub.
  2. Wjazd na podwórko – rzecz niezależna od wynajmującego, taki jest urok Łodzi, ale dla kogoś kto rzadko tak wjeżdża – stresik na początku jest.
