I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to City Centre Prime Apartment on Wschodnia Street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The building looks pretty unassuming from the outside, but you know what they say about judging books by their covers. This place is actually tucked right into Śródmieście, which is basically Łódź’s beating heart, and once you’re inside… well, it’s a completely different story.

The apartment itself feels way more spacious than most hotel rooms you’d get for the price, and I mean genuinely spacious – not that fake “open concept” thing where they just cram everything into one corner. You’ve got proper separation between the sleeping area and living space, which honestly makes such a difference when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a quick overnight. The kitchen is fully kitted out too, which came in handy because there’s this fantastic little market just a few blocks down where locals actually shop (not one of those tourist traps). I ended up cooking a couple meals there instead of eating out every night, and it felt surprisingly… normal? Like I was actually living in Łódź for a bit rather than just passing through.

What really won me over though was the location – and I don’t just mean it’s “centrally located” because every place claims that. I’m talking about being able to walk to Piotrkowska Street in about ten minutes, which is where all the real action happens after dark. During the day, you can easily stroll over to the textile museums (Łódź has this whole industrial history thing going on that’s actually pretty fascinating), and there are these little cafes scattered around the neighborhood that you’d never find unless you were staying right here. The trams run regularly too, so getting around the city is dead simple – though honestly, I found myself walking most places because everything felt so walkable from Wschodnia Street. One tiny thing though – the building can get a bit echo-y in the hallways, especially in the evenings when people are coming and going. Nothing terrible, just something to keep in mind if you’re a really light sleeper. But the trade-off is totally worth it because you’re essentially living like a local in one of Poland’s most underrated cities, and the apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room. Plus, check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering at a front desk or awkward small talk, just clear instructions and everything worked exactly as promised.

  What could be improved: Sterty ptasich odchodów na parapetach i wielka lepiąca maź przed wejściem do mieszkania. Rozumiem, że w gestii sprzątających należy mieszkanie, jednak takie "niespodzianki" psują wrażenie….

  Krásne novo zariadený byt v blízkosti centra. V byte bolo všetko potrebné vrátane žehličky a fénu. Cítili sme sa v ňom veľmi príjemne. Kľudne by sme sa do neho znovu vrátili.
  
  What could be improved: Byt je na 4.poschodí bez výťahu. Chodba so schodiskom je v pôvodnom nezrenovovanom stave a nepôsobí príjemne, hlavne vo večerných hodinách. Problematické je parkovanie priamo na ulici alebo v okolitých uliciach, je tam málo miest a treba za parkovanie v pracovné dni platiť.

  Apartment is very new and very well equipped. The location couldn't be more perfect, a very short walk from everything you need. Perfect for a city break.
  
  What could be improved: The only downside was that the cleaning of the floor and bathroom hadn't been done well before we arrived. The flat itself is fantastic, they just need a different cleaner.

  Piękne, bardzo czyste mieszkanie, przestronne i wygodne. Położenie jest ogromnym atutem, blisko głównych atrakcji.

  Wszystko było zgodnie z opisem. Wyposażenie kuchni na duży +. Do dyspozycji Gości żelazko, deska do prasowania, piekarnik, ekspres a nawet drabina, by sięgnąć do górnych szafek. W zamrażarce był nawet lód. Kwestia czystości do dopracowania, odpływ pod prysznicem warto by było czymś porządnie odetkać, a prześcieradło i kołdrę porządnie wyprać, bo widzialam plamy. Musieliśmy także użyć miotły zaraz po zameldowaniu przy wejściu do apartamentu, bo było pełno piasku. Poza tymi drobnymi mankamentami wszystko było w porządku. Bliska lokalizacja do ważnych punktów, spokojna i bezpieczna okolica.
  
  What could be improved: Czystość prysznica i plamy na pościeli.
