I mean, you can walk to Piotrkowska Street in about ten minutes, which honestly beats staying anywhere else if you actually want to experience Łódź like a local. The studio itself is compact but thoughtfully laid out – whoever designed this space actually understood how people live, not just how hotels think people should live. The kitchenette is small but functional (I managed to make decent coffee every morning), and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of a suitcase for your entire stay. The bathroom’s nothing fancy, but the water pressure is surprisingly good, and trust me, after walking around the city all day, that matters.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, despite being right in the city center. Wschodnia isn’t a main thoroughfare, so you don’t get that constant traffic noise that can drive you crazy in other central locations. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – there’s a decent bakery just down the street where the woman behind the counter started recognizing me by day three, and honestly, that’s when you know you’ve found something authentic. The tram connections are solid too, though I ended up walking most places because everything felt closer than I expected. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no hovering staff or overly complicated key cards, just the essentials handled efficiently. For a 3-star place with a 7.7 rating, it actually overdelivered on the basics while keeping things unpretentious. It’s the kind of spot where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-maintained apartment rather than a generic hotel room, and in a city like Łódź that’s constantly surprising you, that authentic touch really fits.
