Citi Hotel’s Łódź Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Citi Hotel’s Łódź? I honestly wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place tucked away on Przybyszewskiego street, but this little spot actually gets it right in ways that matter. The location is sort of perfect if you’re exploring Łódź properly – you’re close enough to the action around Piotrkowska Street (about a 10-minute tram ride) but far enough out that you’re not dealing with weekend noise from the clubs and bars that line the main strip. The neighborhood has this quiet, residential feel with tree-lined streets, and there’s a decent grocery store just around the corner if you need to grab snacks or water bottles.
The staff here – and I mean this – actually seem to care about what they’re doing. Check-in was smooth, no weird bureaucratic nonsense, and the front desk guy gave me solid recommendations for local restaurants that weren’t just tourist traps. My room was clean and functional, nothing fancy but everything worked properly, which honestly puts it ahead of some pricier places I’ve stayed in Poland. The beds are comfortable enough (firm, European-style), and the bathroom was updated recently by the looks of it. What I appreciated was the attention to small details – proper blackout curtains that actually block light, decent water pressure in the shower, and rooms that stay warm without being stuffy. Parking is available right there, which is huge if you’re driving around Poland, because finding a spot in Łódź city center can be a real headache.
Here’s the thing about this place – it punches above its weight class. That 8.3 rating isn’t just inflated reviews; it’s because they focus on doing the basics really well instead of trying to be something they’re not. The breakfast spread is simple but fresh, with local bread and proper coffee, not the instant stuff you sometimes get at budget hotels. Łódź itself is having this renaissance moment (the old textile factories turned into cultural spaces are genuinely cool), and staying here puts you in a good position to explore without breaking the bank. I mean, you’re not getting luxury amenities, but you’re getting a solid, reliable base that feels more like staying with organized friends than at some corporate chain. If you’re the type who spends most of your time out exploring anyway, this is exactly what you want – somewhere clean and comfortable to crash that doesn’t eat up half your travel budget.

Reviews of Citi Hotel’s Łódź
We would happily come back anytime. – Indrek from Estonia – August 3, 2025 (8/10)
Great value for money! The breakfast was very good for the price paid – definitely a highlight of the stay.
What could be improved: It’s a pity that the elevator is still out of order; it wasn’t working last year either. One small downside was the double bed having only a narrow duvet – it’s not really suitable for two people, so one of us had to sleep without it.Pleasant business hotel for short stay – Philip from Germany – July 14, 2025 (8/10)
Clean, very friendly staff, bed comfortable, nice coffee, tea, water available, good tasty breakfast, free parking in front of the hotel
What could be improved: Location is not optimal. Elevator did not work. The standard room I took is smaller than it looks in the picture and hard to move in – take a bigger room. No AC!Very nice stay in Lodz – Matthew from United Kingdom – July 13, 2025 (9/10)
Great breakfast .. friendly staff and easy checkin / checkout process
What could be improved: Rooms are on the small side but well equipped and cleanEverything as expected. – Birger from Belgium – July 13, 2025 (9/10)
The room was clean, comfy, etc. It also had an interesting mechanism to open the window. It's also next to an abandoned building which was fun to explore. Also the staff that checked me out was fun to talk to.
What could be improved: The person at the check-in wasn't as friendly as most people. She wasn't rude either though.
I also expected the curtains to close better. There also aren't any closets to put clothes in.Good breakfast hotel – Aleksandra from Lithuania – June 19, 2025 (8/10)
It was quiet. The beds were comfortable. The room was nice and clean. There is a good zone for kids in the lobby. Breakfast choice is big.
What could be improved: Cleaners were always talking.Wonderful – Līga from Latvia – May 5, 2025 (9/10)
Good location, nice and clean room for that price. The bathroom was excellent 👌
What could be improved: A bit loose window sealing, so we heard the street a bit.Recommend – Arita from Latvia – February 3, 2025 (8/10)
Very friendly stuff.
As always very good breakfast menu.
We travelled with a kid, so it was very comfortable to stay.
The electric can, tee, coffee and water in the room-very nice.
What could be improved: The elevator is not working. Going up to the 3rd floor with kid and all the belongings, is a little bit difficult.
The carpet in the room was a bit dirty(white socks were dirty after walking there with no slippers) and was a bit smelly. Otherwise everything was worth the price definitely.Good value for quality – Marek from Poland – January 29, 2025 (8/10)
Clean, cheap, good location, staff was kind.
What could be improved: The rooms are really small and it gives me claustrophobia.Highly recommended – Monika from United Kingdom – December 31, 2024 (9/10)
Last minute decision, was pleasantly surprised, lovely hotel , very clean ; friendly staff at the reception.
Excellent. The only one issue was the lift , unfortunately we couldn’t use it , my partner had to go on the 2nd floor with 2 very heavy suitcases.
Apart from that highly recommended 👌
What could be improved: Not able to use the lift 😩You can stay here, its good – Renars from Denmark – August 8, 2024 (9/10)
This was a good hotel. Everything about our stay was positive. We stayed for just one night, and the room was clean and quiet.
What could be improved: The shower didn’t have a cover on one side, which was a bit unusual, but it wasn’t really a problem.
