What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night despite being so central. The apartment faces away from the main street noise, so you get the best of both worlds – easy access to everything but peaceful sleep.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, if that makes sense. It’s not one of those sterile corporate rentals with zero personality. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Biedronka downstairs (seriously convenient for breakfast supplies), and the living space is bigger than the photos suggest. I spent a couple evenings just relaxing there after long days exploring the city’s incredible street art scene. The Wi-Fi is solid – I was working remotely part of the time and never had issues with video calls. One small thing that made a difference: they actually have proper blackout curtains, which you don’t always get in European apartments.

Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too. No standing around hotel lobbies or dealing with crowded reception areas – just clear instructions and everything worked exactly as promised. The host responds quickly if you need anything, though honestly, I didn’t need much help once I settled in. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle in this neighborhood (it’s city center, after all), but there are paid spots nearby, and the tram connections are excellent if you’d rather skip the car entirely. The 10 and 14 lines run right through this area, so getting to the main train station or other parts of Łódź is actually pretty simple. I ended up exploring way more of the city than I planned because everything felt so accessible from here. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing Łódź the way people who live there do, rather than being stuck in some tourist bubble.
