And if you’ve never been to Łódź, that’s where all the action happens – the bars, restaurants, that whole pedestrian zone where locals actually hang out.

I stayed there during a quieter period in March, and the staff were genuinely helpful with recommendations. They pointed me toward this little pierogi place around the corner that I never would have found otherwise. The check-in was smooth, no drama there, and they actually speak decent English if your Polish is rusty like mine. One small thing – the walls aren’t super thick, so if you’re unlucky with neighbors, you might hear some chatter. But honestly, for what you’re paying, it’s a solid choice. The area feels safe walking around at night, there’s a decent grocery store within a couple blocks, and – this matters more than people think – the WiFi actually works reliably throughout the building. I’ve stayed at pricier places in Łódź where that wasn’t the case, so credit where it’s due.

  The price was good, as well the apartment's interior. These two things met our all expectations.
  
  What could be improved: The main issue is the backyard. The facility is located in an old tenement building, which feels rather eerie and clearly hasn’t been renovated in many years. Fortunately, nothing unpleasant happened during our stay, but the overall impression was definitely… unique.

  What could be improved: Bardzo głośny pokój. Słychać każdą wizytę innych gości we wspólnej łazience obok. Co więcej, drzwi mają szyby, przez co każde oświetlenie korytarza nie pozwala spać. Niestety coś nas pogryzło w nocy.
