The thing about this place is that it actually feels like staying in Łódź rather than some generic hotel bubble. I mean, you’re right in the middle of a real neighborhood where people live and work, not just where tourists wander around taking photos. There’s this great little bakery about two blocks down that locals hit up for morning coffee – I stumbled across it on my second day and honestly, their rogale świętomarcińskie were better than anything I found in the city center. The hotel itself has that clean, no-nonsense vibe that three-star places do well when they’re not trying too hard. My room was actually bigger than I expected, with decent Wi-Fi (I was working remotely part of the trip) and a surprisingly comfortable bed. The shower had proper water pressure too, which – let’s be real – isn’t always a given in this price range.

What really sold me on the place was how quiet it gets at night. Struga isn’t one of those busy thoroughfares, so you’re not dealing with constant traffic noise, but you’re still only about fifteen minutes by tram to Piotrkowska Street when you want to dive into the nightlife scene. The staff seemed to actually live in Łódź too, which meant they could give you real recommendations instead of just pointing you toward the obvious tourist spots. One guy at the front desk told me about this incredible pierogi place in Bałuty that I never would have found otherwise. Parking was straightforward – there’s a small lot behind the building, and I never had trouble finding a spot, even coming back late on weekend nights. The breakfast setup was pretty standard continental fare, but the coffee was strong and they kept the bread fresh, which honestly covers most of what I need to get going in the morning. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to spend time exploring the more authentic parts of Łódź rather than just hitting the main tourist circuit. It’s got that sweet spot pricing where you’re comfortable without feeling like you’re overpaying for amenities you don’t really need.

  The apartment is well equipped and looks like in the pictures. Was clean and fresh. Beautifull vintage entrance door.
  
  What could be improved: The sofa downstairs was extremely hard. Too hard even for people who sleeps on hard mattrasses at home.
  It was 4 of us (all grown ups), the area was a bit tight, however it was nice that dining table was still placed.
  Window overlook the street, which is not bussy at night, however apparantly drunk youngsters can be expected to be passing by half of the night.

  Przytulne miejsce. Dobra lokalizacja, blisko do sklepu i przystanku, łatwo dotrzeć do środka. Aneks odpowiednio wyposażony. Latem może być zbyt ciepło na tej antresoli ze względu na bliskość sufitu, ale jak na tę porę nie narzekam. Doba mogłaby być odrobinę dłuższa (wymeldowanie do 10:00).

  Niezła lokalizacja – Polesie, czyli centrum Łodzi, fajne czyste mieszkanie, nieźle wyposażone. Można wyjść na balkon i popatrzeć z góry na ulice.
  
  What could be improved: Ściany chyba z karton-gipsu, bo bardzo dokładnie było słychać sąsiadów, nawet po 22:00. Poza tym ok.

  What could be improved: mało akcesoriów do przygotowywania posiłków. Jakby ktoś chciał zostań na dłużej i sobie coś przygotowywać to ciężko. Przydałby się chociaż herbata, bo w większości miejsc już jest.

  What could be improved: To uwagi dla osób, które są wrażliwe na takie rzeczy:
  – duszne mieszkanie, byliśmy w połowie listopada i spaliśmy przy oknach na mikrouchył
  – ręczniki są najprawdopodobniej prane i suszone w pomieszczeniu bez wentylacji, są czyste ale mają specyficzny zapach rzeczy suszonych bez przewiewu,
  – ściany do apartamentu obok są cienkie, więc jeśli trafią się głośni inni goście to może przeszkadzać, warto mieć stopery
  – lodówka na najwyższym ustawieniu zamraża wszystko nawet rzeczy poza zamrażalnikiem. Warto sprawdzić ustawienie po poprzednich gościach, nam się trafiło ustawione na maksa i po pierwszym dniu warzywa, jogurt, twaróg nam pozamarzały. Potem zmieniliśmy ustawienie na 4 i było wszystko ok.

  Czysto, wygodnie, właściciele dbają o gości (bardzo dobry, miły i szybko kontakt z właścicielami). Duży pozytyw. Co ważne – jest bezpiecznie – brama i domofon chronią przed niepożądanymi gośćmi. Blisko sklepy i przystanki autobusowe. Odebranie kluczy w schowku bezproblemowe. Mieliśmy ładnie wytłumaczone, krok po kroku, co robić. Wszystko na plus.
  
  What could be improved: To drobiazg, ale wspomnę o nim, bo było to trochę dziwne – drzwi pod prysznicem (kółka) były wyjęte z szyn, jakby to ktoś specjalnie zrobił. Może poprzedni goście? Trochę dziwne, bo osoby czyszczące na pewno zwróciłyby na to uwagę. Ale to nie był problem, szybko nastawiłem i było ok.
