I mean, for a 3-star place, the rooms are surprisingly well-thought-out – good lighting (which is rarer than you’d think in budget hotels), decent-sized windows that actually open properly, and the beds are genuinely comfortable. The staff clearly knows what they’re doing too; check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about getting to the train station, the front desk guy didn’t just point me toward a map – he actually explained which tram to take and warned me about the construction on Kilińskiego that was slowing things down that week. That’s the kind of local knowledge you can’t fake. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout the building, the bathrooms were modern and spotless, and there’s something to be said for staying somewhere that feels more like a well-run local business than a corporate chain. You’ll hear some street noise during the day since Narutowicza sees decent traffic, but it quiets down nicely in the evenings. I was there in early spring, and even then you could tell this neighborhood has a good energy – lots of students from the nearby university, some interesting cafés starting to pop up, and that authentic Polish city vibe that you miss when you’re stuck in the touristy bubble. That 9.3 rating isn’t just numbers on a screen – it reflects a place that genuinely cares about doing the basics really, really well.
