I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Central Park Supreme II by LookAp on Gdańska Street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name sounds a bit fancy for a 3-star place in Łódź, but you know what? Sometimes the unassuming spots turn out to be the real gems.

The location is actually pretty smart if you know the city at all. Gdańska runs right through this part of town where you’re close enough to the action but not drowning in tourist crowds (well, as much as Łódź gets tourist crowds anyway). I mean, you can walk to the main shopping areas without breaking a sweat, and there’s this whole network of trams that basically puts the entire city at your doorstep. The building itself has that post-communist era architecture that’s been given a modern makeover – nothing too flashy, but clean and functional in that distinctly Polish way.

What really struck me about this place was how they’ve managed to nail the basics without trying too hard. The rooms are larger than you’d expect – I’m talking actual space to spread out your stuff, not those cramped boxes you sometimes get. The beds are surprisingly comfortable (I’m picky about this), and honestly, the Wi-Fi actually works properly, which is more than I can say for some supposedly fancier places I’ve stayed. The staff here seems to get that travelers want straightforward service without all the theatrical politeness. They’ll help you figure out the best way to get wherever you’re going, and they actually know their neighborhood well enough to recommend that little pierogi place two blocks over that doesn’t show up in guidebooks.

Here’s something I appreciated – the noise levels are totally reasonable. Gdańska can get busy during the day with traffic, but the windows do their job, and by evening it settles down to that pleasant urban hum that actually helps me sleep. Parking was easier than I expected too, though I’d still recommend asking about it when you book if you’re driving. The whole check-in process was refreshingly drama-free – no hidden fees popping up, no pressure to upgrade to rooms you don’t need. That 8.9 rating makes sense when you stay here because they’re clearly doing the important stuff right without getting distracted by unnecessary frills. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re getting honest value, and in a city like Łódź that’s still figuring out its tourism identity, that matters more than you might think.

  Apartament ogólnie bardzo ładny, łóżka wygodne i na kilka dni to idealna opcja ponieważ jest wszystko co potrzebne.
  
  What could be improved: Według mnie warto trochę ponaprawiać to co zepsute, np dekoracje nad łóżkiem w sypialni. W łazience framuga od drzwi też wymaga naprawy ponieważ otwarty prysznic spowodował napuchnięcie drzwi i nie wygląda to estetycznie ale nie utrudnia to niczego więc to tylko czysta sugestia.
