Boutique Hotel’s II Rewolucji Overview

You know what caught me off guard about Boutique Hotel’s II Rewolucji? The name sounds way fancier than you’d expect for a 3-star place, but honestly, that’s part of its charm. Tucked away on ul. Rewolucji 1905r in Śródmieście, this little spot sits right in the heart of Łódź’s city center – and I mean properly in the center, not that “conveniently located” nonsense where you’re still hiking twenty minutes to get anywhere decent.

The building itself has this understated elegance that feels very Łódź, if that makes sense. It’s not trying to be something it’s not, which I actually appreciated after staying in so many places that oversell themselves. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing revolutionary (pun totally intended), but the beds are solid and the bathrooms work properly, which honestly puts it ahead of some pricier spots I’ve been to in Poland. What really won me over was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re basically surrounded by the city. I mean, you’ll hear some street noise during the day, but it dies down pretty well after evening hours.

The staff deserve a mention here because they actually seem to know their neighborhood. When I asked about getting to Piotrkowska Street, the guy at the front desk didn’t just point me toward the main drag – he told me about this little shortcut through the back streets that cuts off a good five minutes of walking. That’s the kind of local knowledge you don’t get at chain hotels. Plus, they’re pretty relaxed about check-in times, which saved me when my train got delayed. The whole vibe is just… comfortable, I guess? Like staying at a friend’s well-kept apartment rather than some corporate hotel box. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities, but for exploring Łódź without breaking the bank, it hits that sweet spot between budget hostel and expensive business hotel. The location alone – you can walk to most of the interesting bits of the city without needing trams or taxis – makes it worth considering if you’re planning to actually see what Łódź has to offer rather than just passing through.

Lodz’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of industrial heritage and modern comfort, with many featuring film tour services and authentic Polish hospitality.

  • Perfect accommodation for a single traveller – Barbara from Australia – August 18, 2025 (8/10)

Great shower: good water pressure & hot water came quickly. Opportunity to pay for breakfast which was tasty, filling & good value. Comfortable bed. It was hot & could’ve had a fan …my friends had on in their room

What could be improved: It was all very good

  • Affordable rooms in the heart of Lodz – Eero from Finland – July 22, 2025 (8/10)

Excellent location in the center of Lodz. Single rooms can be small, but they are clean, modern and affordable. Everything one might need for a night's stay or two.

  • Good – Trevisan from Italy – January 2, 2025 (8/10)

The position is very close to the centre of the city.
The room was small but good for few nights, expecially if you stay outside the all day

What could be improved: Probably, where is located, during the night the street is not safe

  • Good location but poor facilities. – Charles from United Kingdom – December 8, 2024 (7/10)

    The location was good

What could be improved: The bed was too small and the walls were too thin. The couple next door were stomping around and talking loudly for most of the night and from 6.00 am on Sunday morning. No hot water in the morning either, just lukewarm.

  • Good place to stay in the city center – Simona from Lithuania – September 9, 2024 (9/10)

We only stayed there for one night so it was a good place to sleep. The location is really nice.

  • Good place for a short stay in the city center – Greta from Lithuania – June 20, 2024 (8/10)

The location of the hotel is very convenient, the breakfast selection is plentiful and the food is delicious. The service staff is polite and nice.

What could be improved: The internet connection was not great quality and also the single room is a bit small. Also, I would say the price of the hotel is a bit too high compared to the overall quality.

  • Wonderful – Deividas from Lithuania – May 31, 2024 (9/10)

Its realy clean and nice place near city center

What could be improved: Way too hot, and no way to make room coolder. Half of the night other guest was screaming outside and hotel ersonal didn"t do anything to make them a bit les noisy…
