BOOGIE Home small 5 sits right on Wólczańska Street in Śródmieście, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the quirky name when I first booked it. But you know what? This little 3-star spot completely won me over with its personality and that unbeatable location in Łódź’s city center.

The thing about staying here is that you’re literally in the thick of everything – I mean, you can walk to most of the main attractions without breaking a sweat. Wólczańska is one of those streets that actually feels alive, with locals heading to work in the morning and students from the nearby university areas wandering around in the evenings. The building itself has this sort of converted residential feel to it, which I actually preferred over those cookie-cutter hotel chains. Check-in was surprisingly smooth (no endless waiting around), and the staff seemed genuinely happy to help rather than just going through the motions. The rooms are definitely on the smaller side – hence the “small” in the name, I guess – but they’ve made smart use of every inch. Everything felt clean and well-maintained, though I will say the walls are a bit thin, so you might hear your neighbors if they’re having a particularly animated conversation late at night.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to create this cozy, almost apartment-like atmosphere while still feeling properly hotel-ish. The neighborhood around Wólczańska has this great mix of local cafés and restaurants that tourists don’t always find – there’s this amazing pierogi place just a few blocks down that locals actually eat at, not just some tourist trap. I spent most evenings wandering around the area, and it felt safe and genuinely interesting rather than just convenient. Parking can be a bit tricky (welcome to city center living), but there are options nearby if you’re driving. The 8.8 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not luxury by any stretch, it delivers exactly what it promises without any unpleasant surprises. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than in some sterile business hotel bubble, and sometimes that’s exactly what makes a trip memorable.

  Apartament znajduje się w cichej dzielnicy choć jest blisko centrum Łodzi. W pobliżu jest wiele restauracji. Apartament jest dość mały, ale za to czysty i zadbany. Idealny na 1-2 dniowy wypad.
