The room felt more like a well-thought-out studio apartment than a generic hotel setup. Little touches everywhere that showed someone actually considered how you’d use the space. I mean, there were enough plugs in sensible places, good lighting for reading, and – this might sound weird – but the shower pressure was legitimately impressive. You don’t realize how much that matters until you’ve had a few disappointing European hotel experiences under your belt. The whole building has this renovated historic feel without being pretentious about it, sort of perfectly fitting for Łódź’s post-industrial renaissance thing that’s happening.

But for a three-star place, the attention to detail and the genuine care in how everything’s set up feels pretty special. The area comes alive in the evenings without getting chaotic, and there’s something really satisfying about staying somewhere that feels like part of the actual city fabric rather than a tourist bubble.
