You know what caught me off guard about Boho Prestige by LookAp? Walking up to this converted townhouse on Wodna Street, I was expecting something pretty standard for a 3-star place in Łódź – but honestly, the moment you step inside, there’s this really thoughtful design that feels way more upscale than the price suggests. The lobby has this warm, eclectic vibe with vintage furniture mixed with modern touches, and I mean, whoever curated the art collection here actually gets what “boho” should look like (not just throwing some macramé on the wall and calling it a day).

The location is actually brilliant if you know Łódź at all. Wodna Street puts you right in the sweet spot – close enough to Piotrkowska Street that you can walk to all the main restaurants and bars in about ten minutes, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with weekend noise until 3am. I stayed here twice last year, once in summer and once during the quieter November period, and the difference was pretty noticeable. Summer evenings, there’s definitely some street life happening, but nothing crazy. What I really appreciated was the parking situation – they’ve got a small lot behind the building, which honestly saves you from the headache of hunting for street parking in this part of the city center.

The rooms themselves surprised me too. My first stay was in one of their standard doubles, and while it’s not huge, the design makes it feel much more spacious than it actually is. High ceilings help a lot, and they’ve got these great big windows that let in tons of light during the day. The bathroom was renovated pretty recently I think – everything felt fresh and the water pressure was actually decent (you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in converted buildings like this). What really sold me though was the breakfast setup. It’s not a massive buffet or anything fancy, but the quality is there – local breads, really good coffee, and they change up the selection enough that staying multiple days doesn’t get boring. The breakfast room overlooks this little courtyard garden that’s particularly nice in warmer months.

I’ll be honest, there are a few quirks – the elevator is pretty tiny and slow, so if you’re hauling big suitcases, just factor in some extra time. And while the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, English fluency varies depending on who’s working the front desk. But honestly? For the price point and that 9.1 rating (which feels totally accurate, by the way), these are pretty minor things. This place just feels like someone actually cared about creating something special rather than just filling rooms. If you’re looking for that sweet spot between boutique charm and practical comfort in Łódź, without paying boutique prices, this is definitely worth booking.
