I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Boho 4 by DreamAp on Wodna Street, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The building itself looks pretty standard from the outside, but once you make it up to the fourth floor (there’s an elevator, thank god), you realize this place has some serious personality. It’s one of those boutique spots that actually lives up to the “boho” name without going overboard with the macramé and dream catchers.

The location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Łódź like a local rather than just hitting the typical tourist spots. Wodna Street puts you right in this interesting pocket where you’ve got both the artsy creative vibe the city’s known for and easy access to actual life – grocery stores, cafés where locals actually drink their morning coffee, that sort of thing. You’re walking distance from Piotrkowska Street (which, let’s face it, is where most visitors end up anyway), but you’re not dealing with the noise and crowds right outside your window. I mean, Łódź isn’t exactly overwhelming to begin with, but still – it’s nice to have that buffer.

What really got me about this place was the attention to detail in the rooms. The design feels intentional, you know? Like someone actually thought about how you’d use the space rather than just cramming in standard hotel furniture. The lighting is warm and adjustable – crucial for those gray Polish winter days – and honestly, the beds are way more comfortable than you’d expect from a 3-star place. The whole vibe strikes this balance between cozy and sophisticated that’s surprisingly hard to pull off. You’ve got your vintage touches and interesting textures, but it doesn’t feel like you’re staying in someone’s overly curated Instagram feed. The bathrooms are compact but well-designed, and the water pressure is actually solid (always a gamble in older European buildings).

I stayed during what I’d call shoulder season in late spring, and the check-in process was smooth – no crowds, friendly staff who seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood well enough to give decent recommendations. They pointed me toward this little breakfast spot around the corner that I never would’ve found otherwise. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me; it’s not trying to be luxury, but it delivers on what it promises. If you’re the type who needs a concierge and room service, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want somewhere comfortable and characterful to crash while you explore one of Poland’s most underrated cities, it’s a solid choice. Plus, parking in this area isn’t the nightmare it could be – there are actually spots on the street if you’re driving, though I’d honestly recommend just walking or using the trams once you’re settled in.

  The apartment has Netflix on TV and a comfortable bed, which would have been fantastic if not for the noise. Unfortunately, the walls are paper-thin, and you can hear every little sound from the neighbors and beyond. Such a shame—it had so much potential.
  
  What could be improved: Where do I even begin? No Wi-Fi (in 2025, really?), no kitchen knife, no dishwasher tablets, no kitchen towels, and the only 'toiletry' provided was a sad, lonely bottle of soap. The cherry on top? When I told the host about the racket in the building—a party raging until 3 AM and relentless construction by the bedroom wall starting bright and early in the morning and only quieting down around 4 PM. —he responded with pure arrogance and zero care. Newsflash: as a host, it’s literally your job to know if there’s construction or chaos that’s going to ruin your guests’ stay. A heads-up would’ve been nice. Maybe throw in a late checkout so we can salvage some sleep? But no, that’s apparently too much to ask. Do better.

  Duże i nowe mieszkanie, pachnąca pościel i ręczniki, wyposażenie dobrej jakości, ciekawy wystrój, zapewniona kawa i herbata.
  
  What could be improved: Mieszkanie nie było dobrze posprzątane, szczegóły typu w szufladzie w kuchni łopatka z przyklejonym jedzeniem, szafka pod umywalką w paście do zębów, brudne lustra, brak kapsułek do zmywarki i nigdzie nie znaleźliśmy hasła do WiFi, ale nie zapytaliśmy o nie bo nie było nam tak bardzo potrzebne na jedną noc.

  What could be improved: W dniu przyjazdu żadnej wiadomości o formie dostania się do obiektu.Po kontakcie telefonicznym z właścicielem wysłano pracownika,który poprowadził.Wiadomość na Booking.com dotarła dopiero ok.21 godzinie.Informacje można było by wysyłać na telefon byłoby szybciej.No i miejsce parkingowe mogło by być bliżej windy,musieliśmy z bagażami iść przez cały parking podziemny,który jest dość długi.
