I’ll be honest – when I first stumbled across Boho 2 by DreamAp on Wodna Street, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place in this part of Łódź. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries happen when your expectations are just sitting there waiting to be pleasantly surprised.

The thing about staying at this spot is that you’re actually right in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist chaos. Wodna Street itself is pretty quiet (which means you’ll sleep well), but you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Piotrkowska – and I mean the good stretch of Piotrkowska where locals actually hang out, not just the postcard part. The building has this understated charm that I really appreciated – it’s not trying too hard to be something it’s not, if that makes sense. When I checked in, the staff seemed genuinely happy to see guests, which honestly isn’t always a given at boutique places like this. They actually knew the neighborhood well enough to point me toward a fantastic pierogi spot that I never would’ve found otherwise (it’s tucked away on a side street and doesn’t look like much from outside).

What really won me over was how they’ve managed to nail that bohemian vibe without making it feel forced or Instagram-manufactured. The rooms have character – I’m talking exposed brick in some spots, interesting lighting fixtures that actually work well, and furniture that looks lived-in but not worn out. My room faced the street, and while Wodna isn’t exactly a highway, there’s still some city noise during the day. Not a deal-breaker, just something to mention if you’re a super light sleeper. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect from a converted building in this area, and the shower pressure was… well, let’s just say it’s better than most places I’ve stayed in Poland. Small details matter when you’re traveling, and they seem to get that here. The Wi-Fi actually worked throughout the building (miracle!), and there’s this little common area downstairs that feels more like someone’s living room than a hotel lobby. I ended up chatting with other guests there a couple evenings – turns out it attracts an interesting mix of people, from artists visiting the city’s galleries to business travelers who clearly know something the chain hotel crowd doesn’t. The 8.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there; it’s the kind of place that delivers exactly what it promises, maybe a bit more, without any unpleasant surprises hiding in the details.

  Wszystko ok. Czysto, ładnie, ręczniki i pościel przygotowane. Kontakt bardzo dobry, instrukcje i informacje odnośnie zakwaterowania konkretne. Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, kilka minut pieszo do EC1, w okolicy biedronka, żabka. Polecam.

  Чисто,уютно,просторно,есть посуда на все случаи жизни.Позаботились заранее включить отопление в комнате что очень порадовало так как ещё погода теплом не балует.Шторы блэкаут.Чёткое описание как добраться к апартаментам.Спасибо за комфорт.

  Bardzo podobało mi się umeblowanie oraz aranżacja wnętrza. Ogromnym plusem są też sprzęty AGD taki jak kuchenka, mikrofalówka, pralka czy piekarnik. Pokój był wysprzątany w najmniejszych zakamarkach. Na pewno będę tam wracać jak przyjadę do Łodzi.
  
  What could be improved: Kształt wanny, była ogromna, co może być plusem. Jednak jestem osobą z nieco większą wagą i miałam trudności z wyjściem. Myślę, że pomogłaby np. jakaś metalowa poręcz aby można było się o nią zaprzeć i wyjść z wanny. Oczywiście jest też tam prysznic, więc to też jest ułatwienie pozwalające na korzystanie z wanny. Ale to tylko drobna uwaga, całość oceniam fantastycznie.
